January 2, 2019 at 10:28 pmI have been trying to get her to go to rehab for almost 3 years. She has finally gone but she breaks rules knowing that she will get kicked out. She called me and wanted me to come pick her up today and I didn’t do it. Pray that God will continue to give me the strength to say no to her.. She got hooked on drugs but as far as I know she’s not doing them now while she’s in rehab. She also has a problem with pride. everything she does wrong is somebody else’s fault. She’s 41 years old. I have let her move into my home several times and she won’t abide by my rules either and when she finally gets tired of of it she moves out and she hates me even more than she did the last time. So I know that I’m not helping her that I would only be enabling her and I am not going to do that anymore

January 3, 2019 at 1:28 amDear mother, I went into rehab at 42. Stay strong. This is good for her. Have courage to have boundaries. God disciplines those he loves. He must learn to bring our flesh under control. An addict is just just a human who has let there flesh run amuck. Rehab will clear the cobwebs out. Hard for you both. It’s very hard to love an addict, to God we are ALL addicts to our flesh. Pray pray pray for her and give yourself some grace.
From a daughter.

January 3, 2019 at 5:08 amPraying for your daughter. Tough love is really hard. We can only give her into God’s hands and trust Him. He created everything and everyone. I pray that He restores your beautiful daughter to His original design and plan and that she will serve His purposes in peace and joy. Nothing is too difficult for God and we are praying in His will. God bless xx
