About a year-and-a-half ago she had a heart attack and a stroke and they found out she had a tumor on her heart. They took the tumor out and it took her a while to recuperate. Her ex-husband decided to move back in with her after they’ve been divorced for several years. Normally, I would be happy that they were getting back together except that her ex-husband is addicted to cocaine, alcohol and gambling. Since he has moved back in, she is now smoking and drinking. I don’t know if they are doing drugs or not but they’re always broke. He makes really good money and there’s no reason for them to be broke unless he’s throwing his money away on all the addictions. Please pray for him as well. His name is Paul.felixculpa723Prayers: 667Requests: 3

Heavenly Father, I thank and praise you for your trust of the DAB community with this prayer request on behalf of Paul and Melissa. You grant us the privilege of witnessing your unfathomable power as you move in the lives of those whose names we call out in your holy chambers. You let us witness that prayer is indeed action. Our words reverberate in heaven, and you receive them as a precious offering. We thank you for the mother who asked for our prayers, and ask that you bless her with your comfort and your peace. This day, I stand before you on behalf of Melissa and Paul, a couple now caught up in the jaws of addiction in a home where the evil one prowls about with designs on snatching these lives from your eternal kingdom. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I ask that you deliver both Paul and Melissa from their addictions. Help them to see that they are ceding their health and their lives bit by bit to the evil one! Father, remove the scales from their eyes and grant them both a moment of clarity to recognize that they are on the road to destruction. Intervene, precious Father before the addictions take anymore of their will and their sanity. Move quickly, we pray. Lead both of these children to the path of sobriety and salvation through Jesus Christ. Raise up as many prayer warriors as it takes to fill the heavens with these pleas. Pour your precious, redemptive blood over these children; soften their hearts so that they can hear clearly from you. While addictions often seem hopeless in the eyes of the world, we know and we have witnessed that they are not too difficult for you. To redeem and to deliver is your joy because of your great love for your creation.gsimoninPrayers: 1680Requests: 14

Amen! Standing in agreement with these prayers for Paul and Melissa. Lord, we bring this couple before You today and ask most humbly that You intervene in their lives of addiction: alcohol, drugs, gambling, smoking. Make each of these things absolutely disgusting and nauseating to them such that they determine to get all the help necessary to break the power they have over Your beloved children. Today let this thought enter their minds: we would have so much more money if we weren’t using it on these vices. By Your Holy Spirit help them turn to You and cry out for the help they need. Unravel this tangled mess in their lives and restore them to a wonderful, godly marriage. ~gailhello4Prayers: 52Requests: 3

Lord, You are bigger than our biggest fears, you grace is deeper than our deepest needs, your love goes beyond the love for those we care about. Father, please shine your light into Paul and Melissa’s lives and burn away all desire for anything but you. Let them be overwhelmed and fascinated by your goodness, submitting their hearts to you, finding satisfaction for all their deepest longings and desires in Jesus.
In the name of Jesus I ask, Amen.gsimoninPrayers: 1680Requests: 14
