Pray for Australia

    Australia Day is approaching. It’s a time of celebration for many, but also a day of mourning and lamenting the mistreatment of the Aboriginal people when colonization began. There is still division and injustice raging within our nation. Pray for us, brothers and sisters. Pray that the Prince of Peace would be working love and unity, and for justice for the oppressed. Pray for a revival across the land, for the whole country to turn in repentance to the one true God. True reconciliation can’t be achieved apart from Christ. Thanks for hearing this.

    Father, as this day approaches, please prepare the hearts of your children to be a beacon of light and compassionate towards the broken hearted that still feel the pain of injustice. Lord, please use this day to help bring about healing conversations that will unite instead of divide. Please open eyes to your truth and hearts to your love. Help the lost to see how much they are worth to you and how you long to heal individuals as well as their nation. God, send your Holy Spirit to stir up revival in Australia, a revival so bright that other nations take notice. In Jesus Name Amen

    Father in heaven, I pray for revival in Australia and for repentance to begin in the body of Christ. Father we have grown numb to the sinfulness around us. Help us to be broken by the sins of lying, stealing, adultery, homosexuality, fornication, and all uncleanness. Help us to repent of all hypocrisy, idolatry, stinginess, and coveting. How can we name the things that abound. Help us turn our eyes away from all worldly images. Bless us with hunger and thirst for righteousness. May we kneel before you humbly beseeching you to use us to reach the unsaved around us. May Australia turn its heart back to Christ. May both Aborigine and immigrant desire the peace that comes only from you. Raise up laborers to carry the gospel to all who will listen. Bless this nation with godly leaders. Righteousness exalts a nation. May Australia do what is right in your sight. Blessings on those godly ministries in Australia who are taking the gospel already to the world. Shine Jesus Shine. Fill the world with the Father’s glory. In Jesus name
