This is a hard one, Lord. Our son went to college wanting to be a worship leader. He auditioned for the program and was rejected, twice. That was hard to take. Then as he continued to take the General Ed classes, one night the professor talked about the brain, and suddenly a spark was ignited in him. When he called to tell us, he talked non-stop for an hour and a half. We could not get a word in edgewise. He was so excited and on fire. He changed majors to Psychology and has been pursuing more education in the medical field. We will see where the Lord takes him. This we know: he understands and is excited about Neurology – not everyone is, so we told him to go in that direction.

Lord, we pray for this daughter today, bringing her before You, humbly asking for You to work Your will, in Your way, at Your time. Guide her in the direction You desire most for her. Help her faith be strong to follow You, no matter where it takes her.

Encourage daisy_ruth that You love her daughter even more than she does, and You are faithful and trustworthy. It’s a challenging time for mom too, as she releases her precious daughter into Your care and keeping.

I sure will be praying for you and your daughter as my only son is also struggling in college too. Please let’s join together to pray for our children.
