Pray for my sister’s marriage

Hello family. I’ve been a part of the DAB for more than 5 years on and off. I have listened to the prayer request placed and have prayed for my brothers and sisters as well. I do believe in the power of prayer and when we approach the throne of God in unity, I know He hears our prayers. Now, I seek your assistance. My sister, Melissa and her husband, Odin, have been married for going on 7 years now and he no longer wants the marriage to work. They have a son together. They live with his mother. Initially, he told her that it would’ve only been for 1 year but that turned into 7. The husband’s side of the family doesn’t allow them to raise their son together and always picking on the husband’s side and wants my sister to be “cinderella”. My sister just decided to open up to me because she mentioned she cannot hold it in any longer and has been staying away from our family. She mentioned that she’s also depressed. I know the devil wants to isolate her so he can destroy her but I rebuke every plan of the enemy in the mighty name of Jesus. I’m just asking you please to help me in praying for their marriage and for my sister. May God bless each of you ❤️
August 19, 2020 at 2:42 pmLord, we pray for healing to take place in this marriage. We cover Obin, and Melissa with the blood of Jesus. and come against the attack of the enemy. Lord, drive out the spirit of strife and contention. We know that when strife is tolerated, that it opens the door to every evil work. Father restore what our adversary is attempting to destroy.
In the mighty name of Jesus we pray that Your shalom would cover them, and they would be able to communicate with one another and seek you together to find the answers that they so desperately need to keep their marriage alive. Create a willingness in them to draw near to you loving Father. And as your word says we are to come boldly before Your throne of grace to receive mercy, and help in our time of need. Help them to come boldly to your throne of grace, and receive the help that they need.Praying in the unrivaled name of Jesus. Amen!
💓August 19, 2020 at 4:39 pmAmen! praying in agreement. Abba Father! How You love Odin, Melissa and their child. You have made them a family. May their marriage be healed and they become one in You. You know the steps they need to take O Lord, it says in Your Word:
That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh. Father, we commit this relationship to You and ask for Your divine intervention. Change hearts. Open Odin’s heart and mind to take his rightful place in the household. Open Melissa’s eyes to see that she does not need to be “Cinderella” for anyone but respect and love her husband. Give them both a deep hunger for Your Word.

Show this wife and husband your resurrection power, bring light to the dark places where sin abides, Holy Spirit comfort them knowing that they will receive peace when they come to you. Give them the strength to care enough to fight for their marriage, it is NOT over in the name of Jesus, You are enough for them! Give them a hunger to seek you first Lord, that they may find healing and restore their marriage. Amen.
August 20, 2020 at 6:43 amOh praise God and thank you to each of you who have prayed and continue to remember them. I let her know that you guys have prayed for her so that she has hope and will receive strength from God to go to His throne boldly. May God deceive all the glory and the honor 🙏🏾
