CookiePrayers: 1Requests: 4
May 9, 2020 at 8:48 amMy christian husband of 30 years left me 3 years ago for another woman and is divorcing me.Next week is the Decree nisi. Pray that the Judge does not grant the divorce, that the other woman leaves him, or/and that my husband changes his mind. Also pray for my fears about possibly selling our family home. Pray that my husband listens to the will of God and comes back to God and his family. After Tuesday, if the decree nisi is granted, my husband has to wait 6 weeks and a day, before he can apply for the decree Absolute, and we will be divorced. So there is time for God to continue working on him, and for him to change his mind!

May 9, 2020 at 9:57 amYes, Lord, we stand with Cookie in praying for a restoration of their marriage and against this divorce. Lord, work on the other woman and send her away from him, to another town, another state. May her eyes be opened to how poorly he is treating his wife is the same way he will eventually treat her. We pray she turns and runs away from him. Give the husband a softened heart towards You and his family. Have Your way in this difficult situation, Lord. Blessings, gail

May 9, 2020 at 3:48 pmDear Lord, Stacey is in a terrible place. She is hurting terribly and she is very afraid. If the outcome of her divorce proceeds she doesn’t know what she will do. She wants the problem to disappear. Please Lord, be with Stacey every minute of every day. Let her feel your love and your healing. Let her feel your wisdom and your presence. We pray in Jesus’ holy name. Amen.

May 10, 2020 at 3:43 pmGod is your refuge and strength. I just found out today that one of America’s beloved pastors (80 some years old) had his wife leave him (20 years ago). I bring it up to say what I’m sure you know: This terrible thing can happen where it is least expected. I’m sure the congregation was praying. It didn’t change the divorce. It probably changed him in ways we can’t know. He is a very humble, easy to understand, down to earth pastor. I grieve hearing it. I will certainly pray for You, Your husband and the other woman. May God’s will be done. May he intervene in extraordinary ways to save all of you from what is surely not his will. In Jesus name
