Blessed Father, I thank you for the faith of Cherie in placing this request on the DAB prayer wall, and for allowing us the privilege of standing with her before your holy altar. I thank you that Cherie recognizes the attacks of Satan as certain evidence that his evil plans are threatened by the upcoming workshop because of the mighty works of healing and reconciliation that you are about to accomplish. I thank you, Father, for all the lives and families who will be affected by the spiritual healing that will come as the result of this recovery workshop! I stand before you now, Father, asking you to release the mighty power of your Holy Spirit into the lives of the participants in this workshop. I pray that the Evil One’s designs to destroy lives, to cripple faith, to spread lies, and to promote dissension be completely frustrated by the mighty power of the Holy Spirit, the One who is fully equipped to go to war on our behalf against the forces of darkness. I pray for your victory, Lord, in the life of Cherie, and in the lives of these participants. Protect Cherie’s family in a very special way, Lord, that her faith in you will be built up, and that the enemy will not be able to gain a foothold in the lives of her children.

Standing in agreement with those prayers. Father, cover Cherie with Your Presence, Your Holiness, Your Righteousness. Help her see beyond the squabbles and challenges being thrown in her path. Lord, clear the way for her to move through this time in quiet loving support and bold presentation in the workshop. Bring healing to each person involved.

Cherie – You mention squabbles with not yet launched adult children. We saw this with our young men as they prepared to go off to college. I think it was more a way of making a break strong enough to allow them to go – for them and us. Never fear, they will return to your relationship. It was at college that our sons saw how other families abandoned their young adults, didn’t care for them, and pushed them out the door, never to return to the relationship. Our sons came home more grateful, more understanding of all we did, or tried to do with them. I pray something similar for you all.
