(first time participating here! have been listening to DAB for 1 month now)

I am the first sibling of 3, and we all grew up in the church. I met the Lord a few years ago and have found joy in repentance, worship, and prayer to Him. It started out as rare happenings months apart at large events, then every few weeks, then once a week, and now DAB is really helping me worship in spirit and in truth on a DAILY basis – praise God.

I would like to ask for prayers for my brother (the second oldest of 3). He shared with my parents last week that he no longer believed in God and so would not attend church with us any longer. He graduated 2 years ago with a degree from an arts school and is struggling with feelings of failure and falling short and unable to meet expectations.

This announcement that he would no longer attend church was not too surprising or unexpected for us. I already suspected and he confirmed that he was not going even when he said he was for the past 4 years. My mom has already been praying for him for years and already has an assurance from God that my brother is in His hands. But I know we are called to strive and work in prayer and plead with our Heavenly Father, and that through our prayers and acts of obedience He does amazing miraculous works.

We ask that God would encounter him POWERFULLY, that the Word and Spirit would penetrate his hardened heart and bring it from death to life. We ask that we would be the tools used to display that truth of the Word, and pour out love upon him and in doing so fulfill the law of Christ. We ask that we as his family would have a posture of desperation for his soul when we pray to God, and that we would pray frequently and earnestly, knowing that in His perfect wisdom and His perfect timing He will do all works for His glory.
