September 4, 2024 at 11:07 amMy Dearest lorraine; I sincerely recommend, you call your primary doctor, for an appt. Sleep is very important. A year ago, you mention having a brain tumor. It’s okay to be proactive, and taking the meds prescribed by your doctor. My Kind Father, God, I come against the spirit of insomnia right now. I know that it is not of You, and I rebuke it by the blood 🩸of the mighty lamb. I bind whatever is hindering Lorraine’s ability to sleep and I void it. I ask You my Father to grant sweet sleep and blessed dreams as she rests tonight in peace. No anxiety….. Let it be so! Sending my love and prayers. keep me updated. 🙏🏻♥️🕊️

September 4, 2024 at 11:49 amDear Lorraine,
I pray for your continued healing and renewing of your mind.
I have a brother (Rich) who has completed his GBM surgery a couple of months ago and has also completed his chemo and radiation therapy. He has also been approved and is wearing an Opt Geo (https://www.optunegio.com) devise to counter tumor regrowth.
But he is also contending with a desire to do “busy things” with his mind and I perceive that he has also been contending with a lack of peace and observed anxiety.
My counsel and prayer to my brother Rich is similar to what I would share with you.
My prayer is that our Lord, Christ Jesus will through the Holy Spirit give you increasing peace, the peace that surpasses human understanding. And that integrated into this peace is an ever-increasing dependence upon the strength of Christ. I like to characterize Christ’s strength as a solid foundation that we lean on in our weakness. As this solid foundation in Christ manifests itself in our heart and mind, we “lean on Him” and He supports us. It is not our strength that supports us. I find that this visual helps me to remember that I trust in His strength and not my own or in an “imparting” of divine strength into my being (like was experienced by Samson in his life (Judges 13-16)). Lord Jesus, please render this peace and guide Lorraine into specific passages in Your word that give her comfort and healing and renewing of her mind.
Lorraine, let me also offer a list of passages that you can consult and pray about. I am sure you are familiar with them all, but it’s comforting to get confirmation from another in prayers of agreement.
Psalms:
1. Psalm 23 – “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Comfort in God’s guidance and protection)
2. Psalm 34:17-18 – “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart.”
3. Psalm 46:1-3 – “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
4. Psalm 55:22 – “Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you.”
5. Psalm 91:1-2 – “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”
6. Psalm 103:2-5 – “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits… who heals all your diseases.”
7. Psalm 147:3 – “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
8. Psalm 119:50 – “This is my comfort in my affliction, for Your word has given me life.”New Testament:
1. Matthew 11:28-30 – “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
2. John 14:27 – “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.”
3. Romans 8:28 – “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God.”
4. Romans 12:2 – “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
5. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 – “Blessed be the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation.”
6. Philippians 4:6-7 – “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication… the peace of God… will guard your hearts and minds.”
7. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 – “Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.”
8. Revelation 21:4 – “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”Blessings this day!
