Jeff S.Prayers: 14Requests: 17
November 19, 2018 at 6:28 amI would like to ask for prayer for healing from emotional abuse as a child growing up and also from bad bosses with poor people skills. What has been said to me over the years continues to replay in my mind repeatedly which keeps me in a depressed state with very low self-esteem. I struggle to trust people because of this and makes it very hard to make friends and keep relationships going. I feel like Matt Damon on the Bourne movies. Because of the pain, I have purposed to keep myself at a safe distance from others and have little to no communication with people I don’t know. These trust issues are affecting my relationship with my wife, family, and friends. Thank you all so very much.

November 19, 2018 at 8:35 amFather, I thank You for sidersjeff and his request. Overwhelm him with Your love right now. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit. Heal his hurts. Let him forgive. Let him bless those who curse him. Let him praise You for seeing him through and believe that he can cast all his cares from his childhood and every and all things on You because You care for him. You don’t want him to suffer or be weighed down with them. Evil in the world sucks- it causes so much pain and suffering, but glory to God we have a Redeemer and One who conquered sin, death and the evil!! Glory!! Let sidersjeff take hold of all Your promises and put his faith in Your Word. Let him obey Your commands. Let Your Word renew his mind. The words that were said can be removed from his thinking replaced with Your Word. I love you. I will never leave you. I am for you. I am not against you. The plans I have for you are good. All these healing Words of comfort and hope. Let him take those in and allow them to drown out the hateful words that came/come from the enemy. Let him put on his armor each day and stand, knowing that You are in him, with him, behind him and before him. He is a strong man of God and a warrior in Your Kingdom. So many have been hurt by others, but we are not who we feel, we are who You say we are! We are MORE than conquerors!! YES!! Being vulnerable is not easy when you’ve been hurt, but we need not live in fear. Give sidersjeff wisdom to know who to trust and how to trust. Let him learn how to set safeguards and boundaries. I think back to all the relationships I ruined because I didn’t want to get hurt because I had been so hurt as a child. I’ve also seen others destroy relationships because of not being able to trust. It’s all the word of the enemy. The enemy is under our feet sidersjeff. We don’t have to fall for his schemes or let our past define us. Bad bosses suck. Pray for them. Bless them. Do good to them. Pray that God changes them or removes them from your life. I’ve done it and it works. God is faithful! Don’t worry about a thing…pray about everything! I ask for healing in all of sidersjeff relationships. Let him communicate with them and let them know that he is pushing through the fear, pain, etc. and that he is letting God heal him and they will all see the man he is. Transformation is on the way, sidersjeff!! I believe it if you choose to receive it! God will not fail you! You can trust Him completely!! Thank You, Daddy! Thank You, Jesus! Thank You, Holy Spirit! Have Your way in sidersjeff life and let him use his testimony to bring You glory and lead many out of darkness and into His marvelous light!! Depression be gone from sidersjeff in Jesus’ Name. He is free in Christ!! He is a new creation! The old has passed away- the new has come and will continue to be revealed! I pray that Jeff takes hold of Your Word and allows it to work in him. I used to be stuck in these same things he mentions, but glory to God I have VICTORY in Jesus!! Yep!! So true!! I praise You, Lord!! You are taking me from glory to glory because of Your goodness!! Ahhh!! I rest in You! Let sidersjeff do the same and let this Thanksgiving be a time where he counts his blessings and names them one by one…giving You all thanks and praise! Overwhelm him with Your peace and love. May Your countenance be on Him. Let him bask in Your glow and share Your love with all those around him. Thank You Father!! Thank You for answering prayer. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
Be encouraged sidersjeff. God is for you. He is leading you…walk with Him and enjoy the journey!! Purpose in your heart to trust and obey Him. He will not fail you.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! Oh give thanks to the Lord for He is good and His mercy endures forever!! Praise Him!!!

November 19, 2018 at 12:17 pmI completely agree with Janel’s prayers over you, Jeff! I’ve come through similar situations and know this: the Lord is good and He will deliver. I also had to put in quite alot of emotional work starting with reading the book “Boundaries” by Henry Cloud and John Townsend, both Christian counselors. In fact I’ve read this book numerous times because I was not allowed to have any say in my childhood, and was not allowed to have feelings or any boundaries whatsoever. This book helps me understand what healthy boundaries are and how to have them in my life. I left a job because of a mean-spirited supervisor. It was hard to give up that paycheck, BUT it was the best decision for me. And God blessed that decision by giving me THE BEST woman supervisor I have ever worked for. I spent the past 5 years with her and thank God every day that He helped me leave that previous job so that He could bless me more.
Like you I had trouble trusting people. Lord, we ask for Jeff that You bring a Christian brother along side him who will care for him, someone he can trust, and someone who can share his life. Amen!

November 20, 2018 at 11:26 amFather, today, we ask that You bring some healing to our brother. Take something that was hurt and transform it into healed and stronger. Blessings on you this Thanksgiving week. We pray you and we find many things to be thankful for – write them down, speak them aloud, worship God for all the good that is there. Today Lord, help our brother take one small step towards his wife in sharing one small thing that he has never before told her, so she can understand him better. And help her to be open and compassionate. Brother, as you do things to take care of yourself: eat well, rest well, exercise – these things will erase prior abuse and help you live to the fullest for Him.

November 20, 2018 at 12:45 pmSidersjeff, I pray that you are given the strength to renounce the identity of worthlessness that you have been lead to believe by listening to the world and the lies that have been spoken over you by others and reinforced by your own thoughts of yourself as you buy into those lies. Sidersjeff, I pray that you are lead, in wisdom, to the truth of your real identity in One who breaths life into you and speaks with the voice of all Truth and all Authority over you and the world. Sidersjeff, (1)the great I AM is your only Deliverer, He is the One who loves and chooses you! (2)Know this and love Him passionately and exclusively and in so doing tear down the lies of hate and mistrust that you have come to believe. Sidersjeff, (3)regard the love of your Redeemer as sacred, (4)rest in Him, (5)honour your own life and its history by doing no more harm to yourself because God who gives you life is sacred and so has made your own life sacred. As you learn to regard the Spirit of Life in you as sacred then so begin to regard the life of others as sacred and do no harm to any. Sidersjeff, (6)forsake all anger which is so often born from fear, (7)abandon lust, (8)renounce greed and (9)abhor lying (the lies you have been told and in turn tell yourself about yourself); (10)refuse envy and above all KNOW that you belong to God and that you ARE ACCEPTED. Sidersjeff, love others as you are also loved. These are God’s 10 commandments summarized to affirm your true identity as a child and prince of the most Holy Father and King of kings. Sidersjeff, may you know from this day forward who you truly are. In Jesus precious name. Amen.
