James, I heard your broken heart on April 5th broadcast. I’m praying for your marriage. Years ago my husband left me and our 4 kids. We prayed together almost every night for reconciliation of our family. I read every passage on divorce and marriage in the Bible. I knew I didn’t want to have a hard heart so I just kept praying and learning to forgive, also learning about what part I played in the divorce and trying to change me to be a better wife. For me it took 7 years, but we did get remarried and we are still together 20 years later. We both learned a lot and were better people when we got back together. It probably won’t take as long for you, but keep praying and learning and don’t give up if this is what God wants for you and your wife. It’s not easy, but nothing that is worth doing is easy.
