I am asking for prayer for God to give me wisdom how to handle a situation at a new church that I have been leading music in for the last 3 months. There is a lady at my church that hates me for unknown reasons and is complaining about me to the pastor’s wife and telling her that she can’t stand to be in the same room with me. I only know this because the pastor’s wife for the last 2 weeks has made it a point to tell me everything this lady is saying. At this point I don’t know what to do. It is emotionally draining to know that I am going to be in church with someone who hates me and could even become violent with me from what I know about this lady. I want God to use me in ministry but I don’t want to feel like I have to be afraid at church or be harrassed at church.
July 6, 2025 at 1:07 amBeloved, You need to bring this matter before the pastor or board. You should not feel intimidated or threaten in this congregation. Bring it out to the open. Do not stay silent. Be strong and courageous the lord is with you. Sending my love and prayers 🙏🏻♥️🕊️
July 6, 2025 at 1:31 amPastor knows and has not addressed the issue unfortunately and there is no board in our church however the whole congregation does know what is going on as the pastor’s wife told all the church members last Sunday. I think they are all hoping it will just magically go away even though this lady has said straight out that she despises me so much she can’t stand to be in the same room with me. She said I took her lime light. I’m not even mad at her for saying those things I am just very sad and confused why she feels that way and not knowing what my next step should be in the church as I have already tried to reach out to her to see if I can clear things up but she rejected my efforts. She is a violent person and I truly don’t feel safe. Praying so hard for wisdom and guidance. I thank you so much for the love and prayers they are much needed at this time 🙏🏻♥️

I cover you with Divine Protection. Psalm 91 Do NOT be afraid. This is also another verse that satan hates Luke 10:19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. As a Jesus follower, remember it’s not just about snakes or scorpions, but a metaphor (figure of speech ) for all spiritual battles, the lies, fears, doubt, temptations, the enemy places in your path, nothing can harm you, for GOD protects you. Claim this power, and watch the enemy flee. Speak softly and carry a big stick you will go far.” Continuing to pray for you. Keep me posted. Sending my love. 🙏🏻♥️🕊️
July 6, 2025 at 11:31 amI wholeheartedly agree. Continue serving the LORD with all the zeal you can muster. Pray for this unfortunate woman who is showing signs of being demonically oppressed. The church is like a hospital. There are many needing attention. Be blessed in your service to the Master. Keep your focus on Him, your efforts will not go unnoticed, and will be rewarded at the end of this present age…

July 7, 2025 at 8:28 pmPrayer answered 🙏🏻♥️ God revealed some hidden things and showed me that I need to remove myself and my family from that church and move forward as He leads. I now feel released from duty but I believe that God used this situation to teach us all some valuable lessons and I believe that we all will benefit from this situation as it continues to resolve. Thanks to everyone who prayed for me and with me!
