Hello this is Sandie, the wife of a falsely accused and wrongfully convicted sex offender in Washington state. When the accusation first arose I believed the justice system would see the truth and we would be vindicated. What I came to realize is that there is a statute 99.040(020) that allows a person to be convicted with no corroborating evidence. The jury is the lie detector and if they believe the accuser you’re doomed. No one wants to believe that someone would lie about such a thing but the truth is it happens a lot and the state, using this unconstitutional statute has targeted American veterans. This is a very lucrative scam and I can’t speak on behalf of others but I don’t think it stops here. My husband is incarcerated with at least 20 other men, all veterans, who did not receive due process and are faced with life sentences. They are educating themselves and fighting back but the courts involved in the appeal process are biased and not interested in true justice or admitting fault by any means. This is nothing but a form of human trafficking that, because of the charge, few are willing to open their minds to the reality of what is really happening. These men are all patriots who are leaning on God and each other to bring this atrocity to light so that they may stop this from happening to others and be freed themselves to return to their families who are suffering immensely. Please pray for these men and their families and pray that God will put these cases in front of Judges who are just and not afraid of rocking the boat of injustice! Justice requires a collective effort and outrage, not just from those directly harmed, but from those who are not directly affected. There is a need for empathy and active participation in upholding justice, emphasizing that justice is not achieved solely through legal processes but also through societal outrage and a commitment to speaking out against wrongdoing. I believe that although there was evil involved, God has put these men together to right this terrible wrong. Again I ask you to please pray for justice to prevail and for the courage of these men who are faced with the challenge of bringing it to light. Thank-you Amen
