Prayers for adult children

Many of us have adult children, raised in the church, who have walked away. This is continual heartache. We know the Lord is not finished with them yet, but it is difficult to have true fellowship with them when they ridicule your faith. I pray we remember to pray for them every day, not to be discouraged, to trust in the Lord to soften their hearts and receive Him.
January 6, 2018 at 12:07 pmCandace, this is my daily pray for my adult children also. I pray that God meets their needs, and that the seed sown in their youth (word) will grow in them and soften their hearts.
I also do pray that God will guide me as their mother and our relationship.
Therefore I stand in agreement with you in pray that God will open their eyes of understanding that they will know the hope of God calling for them.
I keep my Faith in knowing that while I don’t see it yet God has them in his hand.
