Prayers for me, hard decisions

    I am walking a tough road. I recently found out my husband is having an affair. This is complicated by the fact that I work for his brother and I am residing internationally. It is also someone very close to my family, who helps care for my children. This unfortunately is not the first time and although he was remoresful in the beginning he quickly turned back (3 months) to “am i ever going to live this down?”

    Anyway. I have pretty much decided unless God makes a pretty instant drastic change in his heart I am leaving him. I have been fighting this over the last week…. he does not know i know yet…..

    Anyway, i am asking for prayer 1) for a radical change in his heart. This works on both counts, as I am fearful that he will get nasty and try to get me fired. In doing so he would force my hand to move back to the states. I also need support for the kids….

    Anyway. I am not sure what i really need but God knows.

    Dear Lord Jesus,
    I pray that your light would shine into this darkness (John 1:5). I pray Lord you open his eyes to see the evil that is at work to trip him up. Lord please bring about a change in heart, please interrupt, disrupt what has been meant for evil and use it for good.
    Lord in you we have hope, with you we are sheltered and safe. I pray that our sister would know that you are a shelter, that we who love you hide in the shadow of your wings, that you are a shield for those who are oppressed. Lord bring her near, care for her at this time, give her your peace. Lord provide a straight path for her and her children. Please up hold them with your great hand, let it be seen and known that because she trusted in you she is on safe ground. You are the bedrock of our lives, you can be trusted at times of darkness, please protect her as you reveal and open her husbands eyes. Please be near to help in this. Thank you for your constant unchanging love. Amen

    Lord, when we don’t know what to ask for, you put the words in our heart. Please be close to this family. I pray for repentance and forgiveness. I pray for restoration, freedom and healing. We trust you. Amen.

    Father in heaven, I cry out to you for this whole family. May they see the toll the world, the flesh and the devil can take on them. Help them run to You and be safe from deception. May they all come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Bless these children with Christian friends to support them thru this. May this business be God honoring. Show each one of them the way forward to wholeness in You. In Jesus name

    Lord, you see the whole puzzle while we only see a piece of it. What a hard situation for anyone to be in. I pray that even if the road gets tougher to get through that you will be her rock and refuge. May your army of angels protect her Lord and coat with your armor. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
