Praying for my break up with BF

    Hello DAB family , this is Grace Lee from South Korea and I have 2 prayer requests and can you please pray with me ?
    I am a christen and go to a local church in Korea but I don’t feel secure to share my deepest secrets with my church yet.

    1: Please pray for my relationship with my boyfriend.
    I have been dating a non-christian boyfriend for almost a year, while we are dating, I feel so much pain because he is a strong atheist and we fight a lot. I know he is not the one God prepared for me , but i still don’t have the courage and strength to break up with him .

    2: Please pray for me to get free from fear
    I grew up without my parents around and i don’t even have relatives around. So i feel i am always very lonely and also I am very scared of relationships, i just dont know how to be myself in front of others. And I hate being a slave of fear any more ,can you also pray for me ?

    Yes we will pray.
    Come close to God in all ways at this time and he will surely help you. I pray as you come close in prayer and worship you would be given his strength and courage and that you would be able to do this. Wait until he gives you the strength.
    I pray someone at your church can help you in other ways so that you would not be alone after. In Jesus name.

    I applaud you for reaching out! By-the-way, I love South Korea. I had family who served the Lord Jesus in Mokpo and also in your wonderful Capitol city as well as in and other places. They were long time missionaries raising a large family there. I have a niece studying there now and a nephew teaching there. .

    I urge you to fellowship with Christians. Get in a Bible study. Perhaps look for an older and kind woman who loves God and maybe ask her to mentor you in the faith.

    I urge you to realize that as we confess sin that Jesus said He cleanses so be honest with Him so you can have the joy of His presence. He died for our sin. Memorize I John 1:9 – “If we confess our sins He is faithful to forgive our sins and cleanse from all unrighteousness” That is good news!

    I urge you to break off the relationship with the non Christian boyfriend. it may hurt, but God will bless you as you seek Him first. ….. I am praying for you.

    Dear Grace Lee,
    I believe Jesus will say to you right now separate yourself from your boyfriend. Don’t be tempted to believe that you can change him because Only God by the power of the Holy Spirit can do that .

    The longer you stay the more entangled you become . God will make a way of escape if it is His will for you to part ways . You have to Trust him and not doubt .
    I stand in agreement with the prayers / suggestions above .
