Heavenly Father, I join this circle of prayer before your altar, agreeing with the requests of this daughter. Thy will be done.

Heavenly Father, I pray that you would lovingly call your daughter to her eternal home at precisely the day and hour that you choose. We pray for her comfort during the time she is in hospice, and that family members and friends are able to have closure and acceptance of her passage from this life into eternal rest. We pray that you will comfort Elizabeth as she prepares to say goodbye to her mother. Our hearts break, Father, for the trauma Destiny witnessed as her friend jumped to her death. We pray for the healing of this memory. Father, I pray that you would use the trauma of this suicide to lead Destiny to think about her eternal life, and that she will reach out to you as her Lord and Savior. We pray that out of the tragedy you can harvest the blessing of salvation for Destiny. You, Father, can be Destiny’s source and strength as she copes with the turbulence of real life. Show yourself to Destiny so that she can experience the hope that comes with a relationship with you. Father, have mercy on Destiny and her family and walk closely with them through the valley of the shadow of death. Take this family’s hands and guide them gently on the path you prepare for them leading out of the valley. We cannot ever fully express our love and gratitude for the privilege of just standing before you, and bringing these petitions from our brothers and sisters.
