February 2, 2020 at 4:57 amGreetings Danvers, Today is a unique day 02-02-2020 in that it’s the same forward and backward! First time in over 900 years! Listening to today’s reading of the Bible, God tagged my heart with Jay from Nashville’s prayer request. He recently discovered what state his x-wife and child was living in. Although Kay’s life experience is different it’s also very similar to my experience nearly 30 years ago. I was estranged from the mother of my children beginning when she was 3 months pregnant with my son. My son was 3 months old when we got back together. We entered the ministry a couple of years later where I was pastor of Bethel Assembly of God in Bridgeport WA. In 1988 we had a daughter born in Wenatchee WA. In 1994 she took our son and daughter and filed for divorce. 1994 was the year of tears for me. I didn’t see my children again until 1998. It was in those years I struggled a life and death battle! Once I began having contact with my son & daughter I soon discovered how bitter they were towards me. They both struggled even calling me dad. To make a long story short, today, my relationship with my children is so blessed. I now have 2 grandsons from my son and a granddaughter from my daughter! I even have tremendous favor with their mother. Jay, God is faithful! Refuse to accept what your eyes see. Continue to walk, daily by faith, and trust Jesus with all your heart, soul and strength. Father God, I pray you will guide Jay to his child and give him favor with the mother of his child. In Jesus name. AMEN 🤓

Abba, Father! You love Greg and Jay (and Kay for that matter) – we bask in Your love today because You are faithful. Thank You for Greg’s testimony and how You worked a miracle in his life. Let us be encouraged, especially Jay for whom this prayer is for – that his faith would be strengthened and that all is not lost. Interestingly, today’s Psalm in the ESV speaks straight to this.
1 The Eternal is my light amidst my darkness
and my rescue in times of trouble.
So whom shall I fear?
He surrounds me with a fortress of protection.
So nothing should cause me alarm. We are praying for you, Jay, and we know that God has great plans. He will restore to You what the the locusts have stolen.
Alleluia!
