January 10, 2019 at 10:31 pmRecently, I’ve been going through a break up that happened about two months ago with Halie and I’ve been learning a lot from it. God used it to turn myself back to Him and to change my heart and I am thankful that He has saved me from an unfulfilling life. The relationship was unhealthy because my relationship with God was not healthy since my heart was not in the right place. As I go out and live each day I want to be able to focus on God and not on her since focusing on her will lead to despair and living in pain and focusing on God will heal me and grow me through my pain. But since no one is perfect this is a process and I can be pretty lousy at it some days. Pray that as I go through each and every day, that God would always be the center of my focus in every thought, action, attitude, situation, etc. and that whenever my mind wanders towards thinking about Halie that I would be able to discipline it to refocus on God and not entertain thoughts of her. Pray also that I would be able to focus on the present and ground myself in it rather than returning to the past or pondering the future.

January 11, 2019 at 12:00 amI hear you. Holy Spirit fill my brother. Let him surrender his life to You trusting that as He walks by faith, You will lead, guide, fulfill, provide and supply all his needs. That’s Who You are abs what You do! Amazing! Teach my brother to pray for Halie and commit her to You instead of trying to forget. Let him take all thoughts captive and submit them to You- Your authority and Your Word. When thoughts creep up let him speak no and tell Satan to leave. His heart is healed in Jesus Name. He will be healthy and well and keep praising You for caring for him and loving him. Your plans for him are good! I bless him and Halie- let them be free from each other. Thank You Jesus for giving him peace and joy! Let him rest and rejoice in You! In Your Name I pray. Amen.

January 12, 2019 at 1:22 pmI have recently experienced nearly the exact same situation. Romans 5:3-4 says “we rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.” I have learned all these as a result of a bad relationship. Don’t try to forget. Any time you have oppressing thoughts pray “God, thank you for allowing me to remember what happens when I run my own life. Right now I want to rededicate my life to the Lord Jesus Christ. I want him to sit on the throne of my life , because I know that when he runs my life, I won’t do those kinds of things.”

January 13, 2019 at 3:06 amDear Lord please hear Jack’s heart as he reaches out to you Lord. Give him a sound peaceful mind that stays focused on you. Life’s lessons come in many ways as we walk the path we are on. May Jack be gentle with himself as he finds comfort in you. He already knows the right way to go please fortify his thoughts and strength in you, that each morning is a new day and a new way to grow in you. In the loving name of our Lord Jesus Christ we pray.
