A year ago my father went to be with the Lord. My middle sister Jan who has lived with Mom and Dad for many years took it very hard. I wondered how mom would survive because she loved so deeply. Some months into that first year my Sister Jan was passenger in her own truck and the driver swerved to miss a deer and the truck lost control and struck a tree. My Sister Jan, the only now caretaker of 85 year old mom. Lay in the hospital with more that 30 breaks in one leg and more than 30 breaks in one arm broken ribs broken collar bones and a brain bruised and bleeding. She’s back home now with massive metal holding her body together and still in pain from the things they keep finding wrong as each pain gets eliminated. The last being some ligaments and muscles not attached to her shoulder. Along with the meds she is now drinking alcohol and tells me she doesn’t thing she can hang on with the pain much longer. I’m worried she will give up or just take to many meds and end the pain of her own choosing. She was raised in the church same as i was but I don’t think she is leaning on the Lord right now. I need prayer for her in a massive way and it needs to be now. Please pray for her, please… Don M.
