January 21, 2019 at 5:39 pmI’m Max. Almost at 90 days of continuous clean sobriety. I’ve been here before and I’m afraid of losing it. I wake up every day in prayer for guidance and close every day with gratitude. I know I can’t do this alone so it’s time I reached out. I’ve never posted on a prayer wall but I figure it can’t hurt to have more than one voice in my choir. Looking for strength and hope wherever I can find it. Thanks.

May 28, 2019 at 11:13 amStanding in agreement with these prayers for Max. Lord, You know that in the addiction of alcoholism, everyone loses. We pray for Max, that You will help him be his own champion, choosing what is right and good and godly, standing strongly against the lies of the enemy and the temptations of this world. You, Jesus, were tempted and did not sin. We pray the same for Max. Break every chain that seeks to bind him and set him free, day by day. Your will. Your way. Your timing. For Your glory, O Lord.

June 8, 2019 at 5:55 pmFather, I return to your throne asking that you continue your tender care for Max during this fragile period of his sobriety. I thank and praise you for the transparency of Max in declaring his need openly to the DAB community. I pray that Satan is defeated in any attempts to shame Max about his past substance abuse. I come against Satan and his demonic legions in the mighty name of Jesus Christ , your perfect son who shed his blood for our redemption and eternal life. I declare in the name of Jesus that Satan can have no power over Max. I ask that the demonic forces of addiction be cast out from Max and his household, and that they be banished to the pit of hell where they belong. Father, anoint and strengthen Max for the calling you have placed on his life. Call us to your throne room that we might rejoice in your presence as we bring our offerings of intercession.

July 6, 2019 at 9:41 pmFather, I approach your altar on behalf of Max. I pray that he has remained sober, and if not, that he has quickly returned to AA to recommit himself to sober living. I pray that you would walk closely beside him each step of the way, and guard him from temptations to return to his former life. Use this healing time to strengthen his faith in you
