June 14, 2017 at 11:08 pmwhat a difficult and heartbreaking situation. Though only in my mid-30s I know several people who have gone through this just after a few short years or less of marriage. I’m praying for God to have His hand upon both of them. Upon their hearts. Upon their ability to forgive, to have a servant’s heart, to put another’s needs before their own and for both their submission to the will of God.

June 15, 2017 at 4:15 pmDear Archibald_charles,
Thank you for your prayer request. This what I pray for your son and daughter-in-law as well as for other DAB followers. Dear Brother, these are my suggestions. I hope that they bring you some comfort and will help you and them as well as others. 🙂
First, if they do not have a relationship with God, they need to have one. It is impossible to have a successful happy marriage without God being the center of it. Besides the difficult times, in every day living, strength comes from God. You need a solid relationship with God as an individual and then as a couple…together….to fight the enemy and pray for one another. They need to take this responsibility themselves, they need to do this a couple , the family needs to see it and the world needs to see it.
Second, I will pray that they give their hearts…their very lives… over to the Lord. Trust me; when a person does this…my, my, my, my, God moves. WOW! Does God move! I will pray this for them, seriously.
The next thing I will pray about is for them to STOP even saying the “D” word and start replacing it with the Word of God. IE:
“…And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you..” Ephesians 4:32
“…In the same way, you husbands must give honor to your wives. Treat your wife with understanding as you live together. She may be weaker than you are, but she is your equal partner in God’s gift of new life. Treat her as you should so your prayers will not be hindered…” 1 Peter 3:7
“…Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate;\…” Mark 10:9
“..Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins…” 1 Peter 4:8
“..Be completely humble and gentle; Be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace…” Ephesians 4:2-3
etc….
I pray for the casting down of imaginations and ANYTHING that exhalts it’s self above the Word of God. I pray for them to think about things above not these things below. God’s Word is First and foremost not man’s worldly standards or norms of modern day relationships.
Finally, I pray that if they give their will up and die daily to their own desires and do what God wants them to do, they will have many wonderful and joyous years together. AMEN! 🙂
May God give you wisdom and strength to be an example of godliness to them. Because I know our children…people… are looking for a Christlike example to follow that is not just spoken been lived out everyday before their eyes.
Love ya’.

June 20, 2017 at 1:52 amFather God open this couples minds, spirits and souls to recognize the emotional pain of separation. Lord you are the waymaker and I ask you in the sweet name of Jesus to renew, refresh and reignite the romance that drew them to be Wes.
Lord God send angels with their swords of truth to carve away any demonic strongholds that are causing them to consider ending this union of marriage. Amen.SheilaTPrayers: 2920Requests: 24
