My 25 year old son Michael is a heroine addict and has been in jail since August 3, 2017. He will be released soon and he wants to find a long term rehabilitation facility to go to upon his release from jail. Please pray with us for the practical; that a facility will have a spot for him and that he can find a job quickly. More importantly please pray for the spiritual; that he will be healed and delivered of the stronghold of addiction, that he will desire a lifelong relationship with Jesus and that he would become the man God created him to be. He also needs a support group of close Christian friends he can relate with and who will help him in his journey to stay clean.

December 27, 2017 at 9:40 amElisa, I don’t know where you are or your son, but we highly recommend The Foundry in Birmingham, Al. Check it out. It is a long term residential Christian facility that was a final breakthrough for many young people I know. You have to be 19 to get in. Check them out on the web.

Please bless Michael as he comes out of prison. Please help a door be opened so he can pursue recovery. Lord help him find you as this time nears, help him see you working for his good. Lord as he seeks you I pray he is inspired to keep going. Lord help him recover and help the family clearly see this. Please bless Sister Elisa and give her strength to help. Amen
