April 22, 2017 at 7:54 pmPlease join my wife and I in prayer for my stepson who is 30 years old and has struggled with drug addiction and depression and other emotional issues for many years. He makes progress and seems to grow in his walk with the Lord but slowly gets drawn back down the wrong path. Thank you and God bless.

April 22, 2017 at 9:00 pmWill pray now for him and this week ahead. As you know God walks with him and I pray that he realises that God lives within him and is speaking to him at this time so that he would see him in a new way, I pray that he would seek God with all his heart, soul and mind at this time and sense God saying I will never leave you. I pray also that he would fine joy in worship and spend much time in new songs which can inspire him, songs to God are such a light for the soul. I pray that your faithfulness would be blessed. God bless. In Jesus name. Amen.

April 24, 2017 at 2:42 pmDear Steve,
I pray that the Lord will deliver your son from the spirit of addiction/ depression . My prayer is that you all get to know what triggered ( Root cause) his depression as this stronghold needs to be destroyed in Jesus name! You explained it so well when you said “He makes progress and seems to grow in his walk with the Lord but slowly gets drawn back down the wrong path” – This clearly gives me the indication that there is a stronghold that needs to be pulled down/ destroyed in Jesus name .If his depression was caused by rejection or hurt in his past this will need to be brought out and turned to the feet of Jesus Christ. If your son is holding any un forgiveness or resentment, I ask that he forgives since lack of un forgiveness brings about lots of problems including depression/ many other other emotional problems.
I know we have very many resources that I see being offered for those who struggle with addiction I am sure many here on the wall may offer but I also know that the Lord Jesus has set many addicts free.
May your son be willing to reject the addiction and get all his needs met through Christ.

May 4, 2017 at 5:39 amWelcome. Will continue to press in. I pray he has resilience; that he would be able to keep getting up after set backs and look for Jesus knowing he is not condemned and that over time he would see change as he has a deeper relationship in the faith. Praying in Jesus name. Amen.

May 6, 2017 at 5:38 pmI pray in agreement with you and those who have responded. The Lord has anointed us as his children to reign with his Son Jesus under His authority. Let us claim this anointing and release it upon your step son. Let us bind, banish and forbid every foul spirit, power and device coming against him now, in the name of Jesus. Every tormenting spirit, wicked and unclean spirit we now bind, forbid, banish and cast to God’s throne for judgement. Let us also bind and forbid every soul tie and false agreement and curse coming against him. In the name of Jesus we bring only the love of God, the Spirit of God and the work of Christ on the cross between your step son and every person in his life. In the name of Jesus we claim this. Amen.
