He was a man who had been verbally abused by his mother and taunted by playmates in childhood. He hated confrontation and couldn’t stand up to Mary’s strong will. In his own way, John was as much a prisoner as his wife. He blamed her; she blamed him—and here we see Satan’s deceptive ways again. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ John was convinced that it didn’t do any good to stand up to anyone; he was going to lose anyway. He thought the only way to get along was to be quiet and accept whatever happened. John also believed another lie of the devil—that he wasn’t truly loved by God. How could he be? He wasn’t worth loving. Because he felt that way, he had believed the devil’s lies. “I felt as if God said to the world, ‘Believe in Jesus and you’ll be saved.’ I got in on some kind of package deal—but I never felt I was worth loving.” ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ That is one of Satan’s biggest lies: “You are nobody. You are not worth anything.” If the enemy of your mind can convince you that you’re too bad or too worthless, he has set up a stronghold in your mind. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ Although John was a Christian, his mind had been imprisoned by his enemy. John has had to learn that he is important to God. For a long time, he did not know the truth. His mother had not told him that he was good, worthwhile, and a child of God. His friends didn’t encourage him, and in the first years of marriage to Mary, her criticism convinced him even further that he was a hopeless failure. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ John needs to know that he is loved, and that he is as valuable to the kingdom of God as Paul, Moses, or anybody else. Jesus cares for him, and He is with him. For John to win his battle and cast down the mental strongholds the devil has built, he needs to know the truth. Jesus said, If you . . . [hold fast to My teachings and live in accordance with them], you are truly My disciples. And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free (John 8:31b–32 AMPC). John learns truth as he reads God’s Word, prays, and meditates on what it says to him. He also learns as he applies God’s Word in his daily life and has the experience of watching it work as Jesus said it would. Experience is often the best teacher. I have learned from the Word of God and life’s experiences that God’s Word is filled with power and will tear down the strongholds Satan has built in our minds. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ You cannot be free unless you know that the weapons of warfare are available to you and that you can learn to use them. As you learn to resist Satan and call him a liar, your life will change dramatically for the better. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ Prayer of the Day: Lord God, remind me that I am important to You and that I am loved by You, even if I don’t feel loved. So often we let our circumstances determine who we are, how people treat us determine our value, and how good we perform determine our worth. God looks beyond all that. He sees the giant killer in the shepherd boy David. He sees a mighty hero in Gideon who’s hiding from the Midianites. In the former prostitute Rahab, He sees a respectful, honored woman who is in the family line of Jesus. God knows your heart. You may have done things you’re not proud of, but God sees the redeemed you. You may be intimidated, thinking you’re not that talented. God sees the history maker in you. Holy; Merciful and Kind Lord, please make us pure of heart. Help us to be persons of honesty and integrity. May the truth that You place in our hearts be the basis of our actions and our words. May we always speak with clear conscience always speaking what You give us to speak. Teach us to walk in truth, with integrity and humility in your holy name 🙏

It is troubling because so many people have voiced their concerns, have repented when perhaps we ourselves have discounted the work of another, and have shared its premise, without acknowledging its source (that being the person who actually labored and birthed) the original text and/or manuscript. The author is a human being that has labored long to produce something meaningful… but we negate that labor of love when we fail to give credit where credit is due. When we steal the work of another in an effort to pass it off as our own original thoughts, we are “elevating self,” thereby likening the man or woman who actually labored to produce this work an afterthought, one whose name and work as unworthy of mention. This has all but gone by the wayside when plagiarism supersedes accountability and envy, pride and self-seeking is the slop that continues to be served. Where is the conviction that should have already come when this was called into question and pointed out as nearly “word for word” and later revealed as a “reposting of” Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyer or an article taken from a reputable news source, or an article on prayer taken from The Intercessors of America as though it was one’s own work as “food for thought” from the multiple reposts? I have searched my own heart before God, and ‘have not found it wanting’ to serve a personal vendetta or agenda; but rather to seek ‘the truth in love’ that our calling to serve as intercessors will not be hindered by the sin of plagiarism in our midst on The Prayer Wall. Like Brian says; this is a sacred place that is always on 24/7, so check it out, don’t miss out on being a part of it. This is the heartthrob of God to intercede and pray for one another, one that we as ‘prayer warriors have been entrusted with the responsibility of stewarding.’ Come Holy Spirit, may blind eyes be opened, may pride, self-seeking, envy, wrath and deceit fall by the wayside as we contend before Your Holy Spirit for a spirit of brokenness and a collective heart of repentance. We love You Father and we seek to love, honor and serve You, being of one mind, The mind of Christ, and of one accord that is Jesus, Our King of Kings and Prince of Peace. Dearest NewTrix4an01’d0g; Your words and prayers are very encouraging and well appreciated. We need the Holy Spirit to help us with wisdom and discernment but most importantly we need to attain a measure of deliberate effort to discipline ourselves, especially our eyes and then the mind from allowing Satan to distract and cause us to go back to our vomit 🤢 God forbid it! In order to maintain healthy and purposeful prayer discipline, we need the fruits of the spirit; the mind has to be guarded seriously from all avenues that could cause damage to our spirit man. 🧍🏿‍♂️ We have to put on our armor and be watchful for the scheme of the devil. 👿 God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love 💕 and of a sound mind. I need discipline to look away and keep my focus on what is most important- praying with compassion; being kind, and intentional in caring, loving and understanding. I want to decrease so that God’s light 💡 can shine bright. I will be interceding for all who take time to pray that God will give them a heart of love, unity humility and peace in their calling. We have lost great warriors on this sacred wall. Many just decided to bid the wall “bye” and they never looked back!! When God calls you, you don’t quit!!! I stand in Him, for and through Him. Praying for increased wisdom and enduring patience; grace and God’s unending mercy and strength to do just the little we can for His glory. There are other important things to invest time on and I pray that God will give us his wisdom direction and discernment. Thank you again for all you do on the wall for our siblings.
