Heavenly Father, You are the God of peace, unity, and truth. I come before You asking for Your divine protection against words that are spoken to divide, confuse, or wound, especially around political matters. Let no careless, critical, or slanderous word take root in the heart of believers. We pray that in this prayer space 1 Thessalonians 5:17 will be true, that we will pray continually for unified prayer amongst believers for our country, government, and world. Silence every voice that seeks to stir strife. Block every scheme of the enemy that uses speech to fracture what You have joined together. Let Your wisdom guide our tongues, after all, unless the you the Lord build it, we are laboring in vain. We seek to be fruit planters and harvesters in the Kingdom of God. Put it on our hearts to pray for the souls of those who think differently than us. Remind us that the left, right, and no affiliated HAVE SOULS! A saved person must be focused on you and your will with no desire to weaponize. Will us to speak life, not death; healing, not harm; peace, not provocation. Lord, set a guard over our mouths and keep watch over the door of our lips (Psalm 141:3). Help us not to respond to division with more division, but with grace and discernment. Where words have already sown discord, bring restoration. In every conversation, in every room a believer enters, may Your Spirit lead, And may the words spoken be seasoned with salt, full of love, and grounded in truth. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
