Heavenly Father, I place Janie on the altar before you. I feel her cries of desperation and hopelessness. I stand in her name and in her stead, hoping to bring to you the words she cannot say. I pray first for her faith, following your example, Jesus, where you were always first concerned with faith and then the need for healing. Holy Spirit, fill her with your life-giving presence, and strengthen her faith as she experiences a closer relationship with you. Next, Lord, I pray for Janie’s focus, that it be solely on you and not distracted by those around her. Let her hear your voice and feel your leading. I pray that your Spirit would bring to Janie a spirit of forgiveness for those around her, and renewed knowledge of your complete forgiveness of her. I pray that if Janie is experiencing fear, anger or frustration — that you replace these with your peace, your presence, your love. Let your cleansing blood flow over her from head to foot that she be awakened to a refreshed forward-looking mindset. Father, I ask that the prince of darkness who uses chaos as one of his subtle weapons to distract us from our calling, our first love, be placed in chains with no further influence over this fragile life. Let Jesus precious love enfold her!

I ask you, Father, that your will be done in this family. That truth will come forth and compassion and love. Fill them with love for each other. Healing for the whole family. Please surround Janie with your presence and love.

Break every chain that has this family in bondage, Lord, and set them free into love, joy and peace.
