October 5, 2017 at 5:46 pmDear DAB Family,
First I believe it is my worship, praise and pleasure to God to be a Titus 2:3-5 and Ephesian 4:29-30 woman.
Today, i am following through with assisting anyone who reads this , who wants help for yourself and/or others to coping with mental illness.
PLEASE, call NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness). Their 1-800-950-NAMI or 1-800-950-6264. Their web address is http://www.nami.org. The website is easy to navigate and if you have any additional questions, just call.
There is help out there…TODAY.
You do not have to suffer alone. There are MANY people who have gone through what you are going through. Get the support you need and deserve.
My husband and I did. We attended a group that met weekly called Family to Family. There were people there who had a lot of helpful and healthy suggestions for assisting us to keep ourselves healthy, mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually.
At the meetings there people who listen and not have anything to share and there are those who really needed to vent and share. Both are OK. There are many people who attend that just nod their heads and smile because they understand what you are saying. It gives you assurance and hope that that you will survive and tomorrow is another day and this time you will be more equipped to handle life. These people are warriors and survivors fighting a battle that does not take a vacation: mental illness.
Once you get the help you need you will become a “warrior” too . You will become stronger so that you can lift someone else up.
God bless and take care DAB family. 🙂
Love,
Kathy From Beautiful Camano Island
P.S. Just in case you are curious what Ephesians 4:29-30 and Titus 2:3-5 says…Look belowEphesians 4:29-30 (Amplified Bible) …”Do not let unwholesome [foul, profane, worthless, vulgar] words ever come out of your mouth, but only such speech as is good for building up others, according to the need and the occasion, so that it will be a blessing to those who hear [you speak]. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God [but seek to please Him], by whom you were sealed and marked [branded as God’s own] for the day of redemption [the final deliverance from the consequences of sin]….”
TItus 2:3-5″ Older women similarly are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor addicted to much wine, teaching what is right and good, so that they may encourage the young women to tenderly love their husbands and their children, to be sensible, pure, makers of a home [where God is honored], good-natured, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored….”soundyaaPrayers: 3085Requests: 12
