October 20, 2019 at 1:49 pmThis is Julia in West Virginia. Born and raised in Ohio. I’m 51 years old and have been a Christ follower for many years. Lately, I can’t believe some of the things I hear coming from my own mouth. Since 2015, there have been big changes in my life and I don’t think I’m handling life very well…. Parents both now passed, sold their house I lived in, got married, moved to West Virginia, watched my son graduate, took a new job, submitted to the church my husband wanted. My problem is that I need grace to adjust to life. I know people do this all the time, so I didn’t think it would be this hard. I need for my husband and I to sync our lives better. I need him to sort and put away 50 years’ worth of stuff, which is literally all over the floor. (no garage, no basement) He’s messy and I am neat. Lord, help! My son hasn’t been able to find work and my husband is irritated with him. My son is irritated with my husband’s clutter. I still haven’t found friends and I really don’t like the church he picked. We don’t enjoy life anymore and I’m trying to be thankful, but my soul is just sad. Considering counseling. Thanks in advance. ❤️❤️

October 21, 2019 at 12:19 pmMake a way for Julia and her family in these transitions. Lord, send Julia some new friends where she lives. Ladies that she can feel loved by and can love in return, ones that she can share her life with.
Julia – I think counseling would be a good idea since you have gone through several major transitions all at once: parents passed, sold their house, got married, moved, son graduated, new job, new church. The only thing you haven’t done is have a baby. 😉 And you have the messy vs. neat challenge. Listen God can make a way for you. My dear friend has a hoarder husband and after many years of praying, he is now clearing stuff out. Thank You, Lord!
One of the best things in my life is being part of a women’s prayer group! We’ve been together 27 years and have such a sweet, strong bond of love. Some ladies have moved away and others have joined our group. We share prayer requests mostly only for ourselves and our immediate family. May you find or start such a group. You will be blessed. ~gail

October 21, 2019 at 2:39 pmThank you so much for your prayers and support! I will be coming back here to reread these in the days to come. Yes, a prayer group would be great! In fact, I used to meet weekly with a woman of faith in it previous town. (Julia)

October 22, 2019 at 3:12 amDear Lord, I ask that you please be with Julia as she and her family go through these struggles. I pray that her son finds a job that he likes and does well at. I pray that her husband starts to clean up his mess. I pray for healing in the relationships of all three of them. I ask these things as I do always in your love and your name. Amen

October 22, 2019 at 11:08 amHeavenly Father, I pray for Julia to be able to operate in your love and your Holy Spirit regardless of her circumstances. I pray that you would move in her life, and that she will operate in an attitude of acceptance. Father, let Julia be a beacon of your light, and be a vessel of ministry to all she touches.

October 22, 2019 at 11:52 amYes, Father, help Julia see that wherever she is, everywhere she is, she is Your representative, Your ambassador. She works for You. Help her light shine brightly. For each member of her family, Lord, we ask that You help them find ways to make this new life/location enjoyable. Perhaps they can explore the Appalachian Trail or other outdoor activities. Bring one idea to their minds today. ~gail

October 22, 2019 at 2:44 pmAbba, Father! You are holy! We join at Your altar to lift up Julia to You, Lord. She has had a lot of life changes and needs You, O Lord. Thank You for counseling, Father, where we can truly listen to our hearts. Thank You too, for prayer groups that meet and strengthen the body of Christ. Oh let us never take it for granted dear Lord. We were never meant to do this life alone, give Julia true sisters in the Lord so that she can grow in grace and truth once more. We pray too, for her husband Lord that he would downsize his need for clutter. Allow him to sense that it takes more time to find what he needs when nothing seems to have a place. Give Julia great grace to allow the changes to be made as we intercede. We lift up this dear son, as well O Lord, that he would know how much You love him, how much his parents love him and grant him work where he can flourish and shine Your light. Father, we Praise Your Name because in the midst of our trials You are there. Thank You that we can worship You in the beauty of Your Holiness and look up.
We love you Lord. We love you Julia.gsimoninPrayers: 5621Requests: 43

October 26, 2019 at 1:39 amJulia I pray that God give you peace in these areas that you mentioned. I pray for a job opening for your son as this would be very helpful. Hang on God’s promises right now. It’s funny because we are in some struggles right now too and I was telling my husband that it’s times like these where God is growing us. This is where because we have faith in a God who has such power that we can find rest. I pray that you find peace and rest. I pray that God brings a friend to you. I also pray that your husband cleans up the clutter. But more importantly for inner joy. I need this too. Hang in there Julia. 🙏🏻❤️
