Please pray for me; I am being weak and foolish and yet despite knowing the folly of my choices I cannot seem to help it. I have been having an affair with a married woman since December last year. I am not married myself and often lonely and it started through my loneliness and from being flattered that this younger, very attractive woman should want me. Since then, I am ashamed to say that I allowed it to continue – because frankly I wanted to – and now it has developed into something much stronger (at least on my part) and I feel a deep love for this woman. I know I should end it and actually have done at least twice but have always slipped back into seeing her. She is unhappy in her marriage and sees me as her escape route so I feel a certain responsibility for her happiness. But I know in my head and, yes, and in my heart that it should not and cannot continue. She has children and a life which appears so “sorted” to those on the outside. I know I may just be some kind of “compensation” for her unhappy married life but have fallen just deep enough for her to accept this and deny my own life, prioritising her over everything else and, tragically, dangerously, worryingly denying my own peace and right standing with God. I have not lost my faith but in this situation it seems so weak. What do I pray for? I think for strength, courage and wisdom to know what to do and to be able to do it. But wiser heads than mine will read this; anointed hearts will know what to pray for. Thank you for your time in reading this. God bless you. John of England

Your name is the name of the disciple that Jesus loved so much !!
You have done right to be honest about your sin . You now have to STOP the sin as the Holy Spirit has convicted you . He will ENABLE you to come out of this sin if you are WILLING . Sin can be very sweet but the end result is extremely disastrous.It is not too late for you . I tell you all this in love as your sister in Christ .
I want you to picture this woman’s husband and put yourself in his shoes . Now PAUSE…. how would you feel knowing your wife is having an affair ???? PAUSE and think on this . This is not to CONDEMN you but to help you KNOW the TRUTH.
You must reject this sin before it destroys you . The enemy uses such sins to attack and torment so many people ! Affairs can actually open doors to demonic attacks Incase you were not aware .
Beloved JOHN you have a chance to escape from this sin because God loves you !!!
Repent ! Renounce the sin !! Rededicate your life to Jesus !!
Next be bold – God will enable you ! Talk to this woman ( avoid being in a situation in which you can end up sinning ) – Tell her that you no longer want to be in relationship with her since you KNOW it is WRONG!!!
Ask her to work out her differences with her husband . Ask her to forgive you .I tell you the TRUTH John , if you will RENOUNCE this sin , you will escape the snare of the enemy !! If you will continue in this sin , then you will fall in the trap of the enemy and I cannot guarantee you that you will escape easily .
I tell you the TRUTH ! The thief comes to Steal! Kill ! And Destroy !! But Christ came to give you life MORE ABUNDANTLY! Will you please accept the TRUTH and renounce the lie !!!Be blessed as you purpose to make things right with Christ . He is waiting on you .

I ask that you reveal to him his DIVINE purpose here on earth and enable him to Fulfill it . I ask that you ORDER his footsteps and lead him NOT into temptation . I ask that you DELIVER him from evil .

Father, I bring my brother John before Your throne today to ask for Your help in unraveling this mess he has gotten himself into. There is no condemnation, and there is no acceptance of the sin. What You ask of us is to turn from our sin. I pray You help John do exactly this. We know it won’t be easy, but continuing on will be much worse. As he is obedient to Your rules of conduct, begin erasing the overwhelming feelings he has right now. Help him see that if she will cheat on her husband, she is likely to cheat on him too. Help him gather Christian brothers around himself, men that he can call when he is tempted, and men who will stand in the gap for and with him. Lord, we know there is no sin in being tempted. Your Son was tempted and did not sin. We pray this same for our brother, John. That when he is tempted, he will not sin. Give him Your encouragement to do what is right and godly.
Brother John, I share a word of wisdom with you regarding your situation: R U N !
Run in the opposite direction of this woman. She is not yours. As you know, you are being enticed by feelings which threaten to destroy you, her, and her family. No matter how good you feel now, it will NOT be worth the pain, agony and suffering that is sure to come.You are NOT in charge of her happiness. She is. It is her responsibility to work out her marriage issues. There is alot of help and guidance available to her. You are NOT it. She has alot of baggage which you don’t want or need. NEVER ever be alone with this woman again. I would suggest that even when you break up with her, have another Christian brother with you as a witness and to help you not fall into sin.
You are in charge of your happiness. I hear you when you say that you were lonely. Yes, most of have been in that same place. Go find positive, godly things to do: join an adult sports team (soccer, baseball, bocce). Make friends with men – because it is safer for you. Stay away from women. Develop a good friendship with another Christian man who you can talk with and do things with. Get involved in a ministry that you care about, Habitat for Humanity. Join a gym and go every day, saying hi to at least one person. Build protection around yourself so you don’t fall into sin. Bless you brother. Now it is up to me to make that step which seems so difficult. Before I fell into this I never believed I would be tempted in this way. It was out of the blue, so sudden and so catastrophic. I have my own sin and its very hard to turn away from because it brings feelings of happiness ONLY while indulging in it, but as soon as it’s done we feel great guilt and feel further away from God. One more thing my brother John and to ALL OF US.What I have learnt is that if we realize that wherever we go / whatever we do the Lord is RIGHT THERE WATCHING us and whatever we do is being RECORDED . This will make us very conscious because we realize that no matter if we think no one is seeing us HE sees us..
Heb 4:13: And there is no creature hidden from His sight: but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him with whom we have to give account
Psalms 33:13: The LORD looks from heaven; He sees all the sons of men
Lk 8:17: For nothing is secret, that shall not be revealed; neither anything hidden, that shall not be known and come light
In heaven your deeds testify for you or against you. Your good deeds testify for you while your bad deeds testify against you.
We will be judged according to our works on earth
Rom 2:6: Who will render to every man according to his works
Rev 22:12: And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be
The truth will be revealed; everyone will see everything you did on earth good and bad
May God help US ALL to be very CONSCIOUS of all our actions for we shall be answerable for all our actions whether good or evil.

July 1, 2019 at 1:44 pmUpdate: Today a very unexpected thing happened. On the face of it a very bad and unpleasant thing for me and it could cost me my job and even my whole career…but a bi-product of this was I finally found the courage to end the affair. That’s it! I have told her and she understands and accepts that it is finished. Praise God for His mighty and mysterious ways. I now need prayers for my job and career – a different kind of problem – but I am finally free of the sin of adultery. Hallelujah!

I bring your beloved son John to your throne room of grace,
Lord you see John has been obedient to END a life of adultery. He has chosen to be OBEDIENT no matter the consequences. On the other hand, he has lost a job. Father you see what he is now faced with ? I know Lord NOTHING puzzles you!
I ask that you look upon John with FAVOR. Cleanse him from all past GUILT. No more condemnation by the enemy ! He is now a BRAND new John! Will you Lord help him to stand STRONG in you? Will you Lord provide him a new job that will bring you all the glory? Will you Lord now WORK through my brother John and enable him FULFILL the purpose for which you created him? Be with him Lord and comfort his through this loss. Provide him one day a beautiful bride because , indeed it is not good that he should be alone.

July 2, 2019 at 1:45 amHallelujah! Brother John! Hallelujah! Thank you for being obedient to the Lord. You are a good example for us all. Father, we pray blessings on our brother for his obedience and ask that You work in his life in ways that only You can.
Now, stand firm. I suggest you block her phone number so she cannot call or text you, same with her email address. Do not allow her back into your life for any reason. If she is in crisis, there are many other options for her to get help. You are not her answer, you are not her protector, you are not her rescuer.
And, Lord, we ask that You intervene in his job situation. He needs a good job to provide for himself. Please help him with this. Help him find a really excellent situation that provides well and uses all his talents for good.
Thank You, Father, for giving him the courage to do what was right in ending the affair. Help him realize that he is vulnerable in this area and must build protection around himself to not get sucked into another one. Lord, give him the desires of his heart, if that means a godly wife, we ask You provide. ~gail

Praise the Lord !Father King David was a man after your own heart ! Even with the many sins that he had, you OVELOOKED them! Why ? Because of the intentions of his heart ! He always Made things right with you ! He remembered his maker ! He remembered where his help came from ! You O Lord this blessed King David!
In the same way Lord , I ask that you remember John . Let this be the turning point in his life ! Bless him with many blessings ! Make his CV/ Resume attractive to many employers / help him stand STRONG no matter what temptation the enemy will throw his way ! Help him always remember that you O Lord are right beside him so he will not fall into temptation . Provide for his daily needs and dress him with new suit of FAVOR ! Let him come back to this Altar one day soon with a testimony of a new job ! And finally one day in the future also testify of a new Bride in accordance to your timing and perfect will !!
I now cover John and ALL that have interceded for him with the precious blood of the lamb .

July 5, 2019 at 12:40 pmPrecious Father, we thank and praise you that you gave John the supernatural courage and conviction to end the affair. Now I pray that you would heal his heart of the heart break from the loss of love and affection from this woman. I pray that you would minister to his soul and replace this illicit love with your perfect love. Embrace this hurting son, Father, and forgive him for these transgressions. We all are jars of clay, Father, and our hearts can be swayed by earthly temptations. Give him a spirit of gratitude. I pray that during this vulnerable time, John would guard his heart from the attacks of the enemy who now sees the threat to his former hold on this son. Place a hedge of protection around John so that he can heal from this relationship. Grant him the grace to forgive his former lover, and to forgive himself. Be the source and provider for John, and be in control of his employment, whether here or elsewhere. Let John walk in the pathway of gratitude to replace any false guilt he might be feeling after repentance. This circle of prayer warriors also lays before the life and marriage of this woman and her husband. Heavenly Father, have mercy on this couple and find a way to restore and revitalize this marriage. Heal the hurts that have come between them, and restore fidelity to this home. Let them find comfort and hope in each other. Father, we do not want to see another home destroyed by adultery! We pray that your Spirit would fall on this home so that out of the wreckage of this sin can emerge a new creation.
