February 12, 2024 at 11:48 amThen he said to his servant, âGo and look out toward the sea.â The servant went and looked, then returned to Elijah and said, âI didnât see anything.â Seven times Elijah told him to go and look. Finally the seventh time, his servant told him, âI saw a little cloud about the size of a manâs hand rising from the sea.â 1 Kings 18:43â44

February 12, 2024 at 12:02 pmAfter the prophet Elijah declared to King Ahab that rain was coming to end over three years of drought, he sent his assistant to look for the coming rain seven times. Itâs significant that Elijahâs assistant, someone close to him, kept bringing him the news: âThere are no clouds.â He didnât mean to be negative; he was just reporting the facts. But sometimes the people closest to you will try to talk you out of what God put in your heart. They may mean well, but they didnât hear what God spoke to you.

February 12, 2024 at 12:03 pmTheyâll keep telling you what they see. âDo you still think youâre going to get well? Do you think youâre going to have a bountiful year in this economy? Do you think you can find an affordable house in this sellersâ market?â You canât let their negative comments and doubt drown out what you know God has spoken to you. Theyâre looking at it in the natural, but we serve a supernatural God. Donât give up now. Where God is taking you is going to take unshakeable faith.

February 12, 2024 at 1:51 pmFather, thank You for every promise and every dream that Youâve put in my heart. For the ones that seem impossible yet, i believe when you are in my corner, impossible does not exist.đđ I believe that You are working behind the scenes and that little cloud is starting to form.đđ

spiritdoc1, thank you so much for this observation. I think also there’s another lesson that we can take away from this account with the Prophet Elijah, that is, — we as believers in YESHUA have the ability to pray in the change that we need to see, in order for our circumstances to move. âš In Elisha’s case, change wasn’t going to automatically appear on it’s own. Elijah was proactive and prayed, and prayed some more until the answer was finally seen coming on the horizon. Sometimes if we want to see change, we can’t sit by idle. We’re going to have to be more proactive, and get in the trenches and pray like we never have before…BLESSINGS! In Him.đ
