January 15, 2022 at 11:21 amMy husband died in May. My oldest, Torey, is having the hardest time. She did initial CPR and she’s a senior this year and struggling with classes. Wants to go, and has been accepted to Colorado State University, but unless she gets a lot of scholarships, it’s going to be extremely expensive with student loans. She doesn’t want to talk with me about any cheaper options or anything. So I would appreciate any open doors in that area as far as conversation, funding and mostly her emotional and spiritual healing ❤️🩹 she’s a great kid, but this has been a struggle. Ashlynn is 15 and a freshman. The normal “make wise choices” and protection prayers a really needed for her. Sylas is 13 and seems to be getting angrier and it comes out on me. He was closest to his dad. He’s found an outlet in wrestling for now, so that’s good. Zayden is 12 and is typically my emotional stuffer. He appears to be good on all fronts, but I think some perfectionist/academic pressures that he self inflicts could be a problem/distraction for him. And I’m just trying to do my best on all fronts. I’m actually headed to California this month to be trained as a grief recovery specialist and am hoping to help others while simultaneously building a new source of income. Teaching at the high school while raising teenagers is quite draining in this current post-covid era. I’m glad I have the option to continue that as a career, but I need a reprieve if that is God’s will. Thank you so much for lifting us up as you feel led! God bless you!

January 15, 2022 at 11:53 pmOh Daddy, please help Tara to be the best mom she can be. Whisper secrets in her ear about each of her children so that she’ll know how to help each one. Give her open doors in her relationships and in her work. And please comfort her in ways that go deep. You’re so good at that. Thank you!
