I am 39 years and have never had a relationship with my dad. I have been told for years he didn’t really believe I was his daughter. To end this once and for all I asked him to take a paternity test that I am paying for. The last couples of days it has been so much drama with two of his other children contacting about the test. I don’t understand why they would have a problem with this. After all of this happened I tried calling him but he won’t answer now and we are scheduled to take the paternity test tomorrow. I’m thinking now he isn’t going to show up. It is so hard because I am suppose to honor my mother and father but he seems not to want to have a relationship with me. I was trying to have a relationship with his other children but them acting like this has made me change my mind. I am asking for prayer for wisdom about the situation and peace afterward.
