womensretreat – expect opposition

    Hello,
    I wanted to surprise my wife with the option to going the women’s retreat “more Gathering” . Now we had some turbulent last 2 weeks with her stepmom being in the ICU. Unfortunately we are running late on this and now no regular vacation time is available.
    So I need to email her supervisor and ask for time off as a special request for her to go to this conference. Only a certain amount of people can be on vacation at the same time.

    Please pray for me and my words I will choose to ask my wife boss and for her heart to be softened and understanding.
    As Jill said: ” expect opposition” . I try to be faithful and whatever supposed to happen will. If she is meant to be able to go there a way will open. I hope fast, since the registration is closing soon as far I have heard Brian on the podcast. Anyways. Please pray for my wife to get vacation so she can see many of you there. THANK YOU!

    Praying for favor for your wife, the softening of her supervisor’s heart & for your favor. I just finalized my own registration as well, and YES there was great opposition. I will tell you, the moment I made the decision to trust God & register, things have been getting easier & I’m starting to see the light.

    Had a rocky day yesterday, as she was not selected for a position she applied for.
    This was the first time she ever “not” got a job she applied for 🙁
    It’s all in gods plan, but nobody likes to experience rejection.
    It’s not the best time to bring this question up to her (how to solve going to “more), or her supervisor right now… ?!?
    But I am more sure than before that she should go! Just not sure how to make it happen, and the longer we wait with trying to figure it out the lower the chances will be.
    Please pray for wisdom for me 🙂
