Grace S.Prayers: 16Requests: 6
January 16, 2021 at 7:32 pmI found out today that Christmas was the birthday of the sun god in a religion dating back to way before Christ’s birth, and that Easter had nothing to do with Jesus, both Holidays being pagan ones. Lord, please help me to follow You and find out what more I might be doing wrong and only follow your Word, not these pagan man made holidays celebrating false gods💕

January 16, 2021 at 10:39 pmPraying. 🙏🏼 Please consider reading and praying Psalm 25. 4-5 Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you. 8-9 The Lord is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way. 12 Who are those who fear the Lord? He will show them the path they should choose.

January 17, 2021 at 1:55 amYou are absolutely correct about Christmas and Easter being umbilical with deep roots in pagan religion. It is ridiculous to claim the Messiah was born on the sun gods birthday and erect a dead tree in your living room and put your best gifts of the year to your children under that dead tree. If you can break free of these man made rituals and serve Yahuah and honor him on his set apart days (biblical) you will start to experience his Shalom. It may be difficult and your family and church friends won’t appreciate your newly found freedom but what do you want? Do you want to serve the Creator of heaven and earth or the traditions of man? Do what is good and you won’t regret it dear child! Who would come to a wedding feast with the wrong garments on? Blessings!

January 17, 2021 at 5:26 amThis is a quote from http://www.gatewayanabaptistchurch.com/2017/11/13/was-the-birth-of-christ-during-the-feast-of-tabernacles/ expounding on the idea I think originally from Edersheim, that Christ fulfilled all the Jewish feasts, his birth being the fulfillment of the Feast of Tabernacles, His conception day being December 25. As Christians we are not required or forbidden from celebrating any day. God bless your study in His Word.
“The Bible does not specifically say the date of Jesus’ birth. However, the worldly tradition of December 25th is wrong because it is a winter month and the scriptures speak of the sheep being in pasture (Luke 2:8). A study of the time of the conception of John the Baptist reveals he was conceived about Sivan 30, the eleventh week, [our June 22].
When Zechariah was ministering in the temple, he received an announcement from God of a coming son. The eighth course of Abia, when Zechariah was ministering, was the week of Sivan 12 to 18 (Killian n.d.). Adding forty weeks for a normal pregnancy reveals that John the Baptist was born on or about Passover (Nisan14) [March 25]. We know six months after John’s conception, Mary conceived Jesus (Luke 1:26-33). Therefore, Jesus would have been conceived six months later in the month of Kislev. Kislev 25 [Dec. 25] is celebrated by Jews today as Hanukkah. Was the “light of the world” conceived on the festival of lights?
Starting at Hanukkah, which begins Kislev 25 and continues for eight days, and counting through the nine months of Mary’s pregnancy, one arrives at the approximate time of the birth of Jesus at the Feast of Tabernacles (the early fall of the year) [late September or early October]. “… and more

January 17, 2021 at 5:51 amHallelujah!
Thank you for openning the eyes and ears of another person, Lord. Please continue to reveal the depth and extent of lies in which we exist, leading unto all truth that we may not be deceived about anything whatsoever. Amen. -
