Dad ill giving up

My dad is experiencing high blood pressure and weakness. Says he is not going to eat or drink. All other vitals good. Says he is tired. We pray he is able to be in better spirits and feel better no matter how many more days that Lord gives him. Hoping he makes a recovery and gain strength and sense of well being.

I pray comfort and peace for the family as they interact and make decisions about their father’s care. I pray that you would impart wisdom to all his caregivers so that your will for this father’s life will not be diverted at any time.

We thank you for this dad. You are our father and he too is a father to his children . I ask Lord that you look upon him with your tender mercy .
Grant him strength even as his body ages . Lord we know that even though our outward man wastes away; yet you renew our inner man .- this is for believers in Christ only .My sincere prayer for this dad is that he would feel your presence . If he has accepted you as Lord and savior he needs not fear for he is assured of a new body that will never waste away .
If he has not received you as Lord and Savior , I pray that his son/ daughter would use this opportunity to lead him to you without any delay .
Lord we Glorify your name and ask that you strengthen this dad and have your way in his life .

Amen 🙏🏽June 10, 2019 at 9:16 amFor those of you who prayed for my dad…THANK YOU!! He is doing somewhat better. We celebrate any and all improvement. He drank only fluids for a while. Now drinking a prescribed shake too. Also eating a little. He is up, moving around some, and seems to have an improved outlook.
One sets a thousand to flight, two sets ten-thousand to flight. Imagine how many we set to flight when we lift each other in prayer as a body. God be praised!!June 10, 2019 at 9:48 amAmen! Thank You, Lord for helping this dad move forward and show some improvement. We continue to pray that he be restored to full health, vigor and zest for life.
June 10, 2019 at 9:59 amThank you gsimonin for joining me in praising God for His faithfulness. I meant to use the scripture Leviticus instead of Deuteronomy before I sent the praise report. Here it is. “You will chase your enemies, and you will defeat them. 8 Five of you will chase a hundred of them, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand of them. You will defeat your enemies, 9 and I will be pleased with you.”
I wanted to say that as we walk in obedience and are faithful to pray and operate in the authority god has given us through His son Jesus Christ, may this be true in our lives every day. God be praised!
