June 9, 2019 at 3:55 pmPlease pray for my wife and I. We have been separated for about 8 months. We have two boys, 9 and 6. This has been hard on them too. I have been seeking God’s guidance through all of this. Most days I feel there are more questions than answers. Pray that God will give me patience, and understanding. And pray that my wife will come to understand just how much God loves her. Thank you! FromJonathan and my wife Kristina.

June 9, 2019 at 5:54 pmPrecious Lord, I thank you for the faith of Jonathan and Kristina to place their marriage before this community for prayer. We hold this as a sacred trust , and gladly stand with them around this altar. We seek the healing of this marriage, and the healing of the two individuals who now find themselves living apart. I pray first that you take away the anxiety related to the estrangement so that this couple can be able to talk to each other without tension that would interfere with the clarity of communication. Father, I ask that you plant the seeds of reconciliation in the hearts of each of these people. I ask further that you grant both of them divine humility and Christian love and compassion that will open the doors to the process of forgiveness. I ask that their sacred vows will remind them of the seriousness of their commitment to you, to each other and to their children. I pray that you would place a hedge of protection around these children so they will not be harmed by any actions of their parents. Father, we know that Satan is actively prowling about this home and in the lives of both these children of yours. The enemy intends to destroy this marriage and to destroy and devour this couple. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray that Satan and the forces of evil he brings with him to do battle against God’s children will be cast out from this home and from the lives of the members of this family. Show this couple that the evil strategies of Satan are the ultimate source of the dissension and sin in their home so they do not succumb to the deceptions and lies of the evil one. We ask that your Holy Spirit would take up the spiritual battle against the forces of the enemy, and win the battle for this marriage. I pray that you would place in their path whatever resources are needed to bring about the healing of this marriage! I pray for patience and supernatural love as this couple undertakes the process of rebuilding this home.

June 10, 2019 at 10:30 amStanding in agreement with these prayers for Jonathan and Kristina. The DAB family rise up, as warriors in Christ’s army, to take a stand against the evil desire of satan to destroy this family, this marriage, and each of the people: husband, wife and children. If for no other reason, Lord, restore this marriage for the sake of these dear, innocent children. Help Jonathan and Kristina choose to love each other, each day. Choose to work things out. There is nothing that cannot be forgiven and changed. In our disposable culture, sometimes we buy into the lie that everything is disposable. It’s not true! People are not disposable, for we have an eternal soul. Help Jonathan and Kristina decide today that they will rebuild their marriage and their life.
Several years ago we were facing the cancer of alcoholism which was threatening to destroy our family. We chose to fight the disease, rather than each other, and to reclaim our marriage. We made lots of little changes until we finally got to a healthier place where we could live at peace with each other. Our now adult sons thanked us for staying together AND working through our problems. Now we enjoy life and the blessings of grandchildren together. Is it perfect? No. Is there room for improvement? Yes.
May you, Jonathan and Kristina, be able to look back one day and say, “We chose to love each other, to stay together, to make it work, and to make the necessary changes”. It begins today. Find one kind thing you can do or say, and do it.
