I am pulled by the flesh to find fulfillment in ways other than Jesus, which I know leaves nothing but emptiness.
I feel rejected and unwanted by my wife. I know God is working to restore our marriage but the temptation to despair and hopelessness is frequently strong.
Prayer warriors, please pray that God would hold me fast, granting me the grace to walk in His ways. I need to see differently, with spiritual eyes, with a heart of devotion toward Jesus, and compassionate understanding for the pain my wife is in. We both need so much maturity, wisdom and the ability to give grace to each other as God restores our marriage.

June 27, 2019 at 10:01 pmHeavenly Father, I stand before your throne this night in agreement with my brother’s prayer. I pray that you would hear his prayers for encouragement from you, and for relief from thoughts that would betray his solemn commitment to his wife. I pray that you would teach him how to love his wife as you love her, and grant his wife the grace to receive his love. Grant both members of this couple humility and honest self examination that is entirely rooted in truth and pure motives. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray that if Satan is the source of the frustration and confusion of our brother or his wife, then I pray that his lies and deception would come to light and the evil one’s taunts would stop. I pray that your holy angels would take up battle against the evil forces, and cast them away from this home and from any further torment of this couple. I ask that you pour out your love and your Holy Spirit on this home so that this couple would be renewed in both their love and their faith in you. Father, heal this couple, and show them the way of patience and forgiveness. What you have joined together, Lord, we stand in agreement should not be torn asunder. We praise you for your work already begun in restoring this home.

Help him Lord, to remain faithful to his marriage vows in every way and to lean on You while he and his wife sort out their struggles. May each of them turn to You and become obedient to You alone. I pray for good communication between hello4 and his wife. He feels rejected and unwanted. Does she know this? Does she care? I pray so. Help each of them let down their guard with each other and decide to do life together differently, better.
For 20 years I faithfully cooked corned beef and cabbage on St. Patrick’s day. Then one day I decided to tell the truth: I don’t like corned beef. I had been cooking it those many years because I thought my dear husband liked it. When I told him the truth, he told me that he didn’t like it either, and was eating it because he thought I liked it. What a moment of laughter ensued! Now, we don’t buy it, we don’t cook it and we don’t eat it, smiling together. I pray that some of your struggles will become points of joy as you talk openly about what was, what is and what you hope for. Peace. ~gail

Draw near to God and he will draw near to you . That is what I hear over and over in my spirit concerning you .I challenge you to complete soak yourself in the things of God in the coming days / weeks . Pray daily over your marriage . You are in a spiritual battle. In any battle either good or evil wins .
When you give in to your flesh then evil has won and the consequences are disastrous .Fight the good fight knowing that God is with you . When you give on to the flesh , you silence or rather EXTINGUISH the presence of God in your life . That is why we are to subject this flesh of ours daily as it WARS with our spirit . Read Romans 8:7
The Bible says – WATCH and PRAY so you will NOT fall into temptation . The Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak .
Read Matthew 26:41May the Lord EMPOWER you to overcome the desires of the flesh . May the Lord EMPOWER you to win this battle that is being waged against your marriage .
Put your Hope in HIM and you will come out victorious .
The Lord will grant you favor when you pass this test . The test is for you to COMMIT yourself fully to God. Submit yourself to God . Resist the devil and he will flee from you .

Sheila from TexasJune 30, 2019 at 10:35 amBrother, just because you are tempted does not mean that you have to go down that path. We are all tempted. Christ was tempted and did not sin. We encourage you to NOT sin. In our Christian walk, it is important to not only listen to our Lord’s commands but also to obey them. We pray for your obedience, for your sake, the sake of your marriage, and family and for the sake of all who know you.
We ask Lord, that you help our brother do the right thing. And, we ask for Your healing of his wife’s pain. Rebuild the trust and transparency in communication between this husband and wife. Grant both of them humility and a spirit of forgiveness. Reveal yourself as the source of all they have. Pour out your Spirit upon this home, and call this husband and wife to renew their commitment to you.

We ask for grace. For mercy. Thank You for Your Heart of Compassion. Remind us all that marriage is Your Idea. You created man and woman to live together as one flesh. Often, we allow counterfeit ideas to come into our relationships that You never intended. Restore this marriage, O Lord and make it beautiful. Heal and make whole, in Jesus Name!
