December 6, 2019 at 6:07 amFather in heaven, I pray this husband may know your mighty love, incomprehensible really, but may he experience, may he encounter Jesus. Bless him with a vision of the God who loves him so much he entered his own creation as a babe, lived, worked, walked taught as any other man. HIs love planned our redemption long before we were created. His love submitted to the mocking, scourging, the agony of death on that cross. Father, help him to know how much you love him. Help him to take his eyes off of any perceived failures and sins. All you ask is that he walks with you where you lead him, to lay down his burdens and take up your yoke, a much easier walk because you are yoked with us – yet an incredible walk because you take us down paths we would never have been able to walk on our own. Dear Lord, Help him not to try to clean up his own life in the flesh. Help him to turn it all over to you. In Jesus name

December 6, 2019 at 11:16 amStanding in agreement with our sister, jlaubriel1, in the prayers for her dear husband. Lord, step in and relieve his depression and help him to forever turn away from alcohol. May he turn to You. Give him relieve and healing.
Sister – Having come from a family with much alcoholism, I can tell you this: with alcoholism, EVERYONE LOSES. You lose the present, the past and the future. This is an issue that hurts everyone in the family and friends. To me, it’s worth fighting against with all that I have. I pray this for you, also. ~gail

December 6, 2019 at 2:31 pmI’m praying that your husband can find himself through following Jesus. Numbing the pain through drinking is the easy way out but it’s not going to reconcile the troubles. I’m lifting you and your husband up to Jesus. God will come through with his faithful live and tender heart. Blessings, Z

December 10, 2019 at 10:09 amDear Jesus, we pray for your peace to be with this family, especially the husband. Help him to meditate on things that are true, pure, righteous, and praiseworthy. May he cast all of his care on you. Help him to find comfort and relief in you and not alcohol. Show him that you are with him, right now Lord. Make your presence so strong in his life, today and everyday.
