Please pray I’d be delivered from a people pleasing spirit. Pray I’d be confident in who God created me to be. :).

I pray that you would hear our prayers in support of your child, and deliver them from the compulsion to please others. Help them to live to please you, and make you the center of everything in their lives.

As I look to a new year and an upcoming fast and how I want to move away from habits that lead to a static condition in my walk with You, I pray for preciousdown. I am in agreement with my fellow intercessors and preciousdown that Your deliverance is preciousdown’s as well as mine and all others who seek to walk free everyday, and as we exemplify the Good News of Jesus Christ to those who are lost.

December 30, 2019 at 11:45 amAmen! We stand with you, preciousdown, in your holy prayer request. Lord, deliver preciousdown from this affliction, which many see as “good” but You know to be unhealthy. Many will encourage people pleasing, when what we really need to be doing is pleasing You.
I suffer too with this, taught at the hem of my mother’s skirt. It’s a tough attitude to break, however the more I stay in the Word, and seek Him, the easier it is to let go of the chains of my past.
Lord, set preciousdown and all others struggling with this, free. ~gail
