January 1, 2020 at 3:29 pmPlease pray for my mom and I that our relationship be in harmony. She already had 3 heart attacks and she is always grumpy even to my son who is just a baby. Pray that her health be restored, because maybe that’s the reason for her attitude. Sometimes i I really want to start a fight with her for all of the mean things she say, but I just always bear in mind that maybe because of her illness that’s why she’s like that. Please pray for my son as well for him not to have any ill feelings with his grandma because of how she treats him. I want to defend my son every time he is being scolded but because of my mom’s heart condition I just don’t say anything so that we will not fight. My family, my relatives just don’t say anything if my mom starts to say negative things. And I am worried that because of that she thinks that what she is doing is okay. It is really not and no one could rebuke her because of her heart condition. Please help me pray for my mom’s attitude, that her heart will be softened. We don’t know what else to do…

January 4, 2020 at 12:24 pmContinuing to pray for this family — Lord, we pray that You bring some peace and calm to all affected. May the mom/grandma release her grumpiness and move forward choosing a better attitude. Help her and her family understand that even with a chronic illness, it’s not okay for mom to say mean things, especially to the child. Lord, if no one is willing to talk with mom about this, then I pray that when she starts being grumpy, the child is removed from the room/house. The adults may choose to remain close by, but the child likely does not understand. Give them Your wisdom to know how to best deal with this situation. Happy New Year! ~gail
