January 9, 2020 at 2:08 pmI have never shown myself to anyone but God. It’s not that I am afraid of rejection, I just don’t know how to.

January 9, 2020 at 2:56 pmI’m not sure how much my opinion will help your scenario, everyone’s different. But I know prayer will help, so I will pray for you. For myself I have found that showing myself to people is mainly executed through conversation. I find speaking what’s on my mind while being honest to myself and others is important. Like thoughts you have and things recently you’ve been thinking about or struggling with. It takes being vulnerable. I think it should be the right person as well, someone who cares and listens. There are things that hold me back from showing myself to people, things like anxiety and insecurity. These things are works of the devil (or demons) in my opinion, where the devil wants to steal from your relationships and conversations. (I do understand there is cases where it’s clinical and there is a chemical unbalance of some sort) These things can take a hold in your life as well, making it difficult to see what the actual problem is. I think the hardest part of dealing with this problem in your life is identifying the problem. Because the last thing the demons want is to be exposed. The bible says the devil wants to steal, kill, and destroy. I also find lying can lead to fear or anxiety taking a hold as well. Other ways I can be held back from showing myself to people are when I have something on my mind that I don’t want to share. That’s when I find myself distracted and that’s also where things like anxiety can find a place inside me. But if I get them off my chest, I find there is usually a positive response. And a freedom to express my thoughts clearly and live in the moment. The way to get rid of these things is to find your identity in the blood of Jesus, because the blood is our redemption and our purification. Where the devil can have no power over us because we are redeemed and purified. There is power in proclaiming the redemption and purification in the blood of Jesus over your life, mind, and soul. Filling yourself with the Holy Spirit And there is power in the name of Jesus.

January 11, 2020 at 9:04 amPray for clarity in the situations ahead. That all distractions and irrelevance would be washed away. You are a light that shines, no need for a lampshade. Take a step each day in revealing the Light of God and as such you’ll know your place better. Godspeed!
