My Dad is 90, suffering with dementia and agonizing pain. He fell and broke a hip a couple of years ago and the decline began. As of a couple months ago, he was still having good days, but things began to spiral faster. Two days ago he fell again and broke his leg in 2 places. The doctor will not do surgery to pin the bones because its too risky. The sent him home where he is under 24/7 care but the pain meds they gave him are minimal. He is in agony. This is weighing on my brother very heavily. I am not able to be there or to help because of my physical problems. Pray that God will show mercy and bring my Dad’s suffering to an end, but also that He would strengthen and encourage my brother. Other family members criticize his every decision and effort, yet they won’t lift a hand to help. God’s will be done.
