Ephesians 2:4. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us. The word ‘but’ is a mere three letter word. When used in a sentence, the word ‘but’ has the potential to change the direction of a conversation, a story & also the outcome. Luke 15:22. “But the Father said to His servants, ‘Bring out the best robe & put it on him, & put a ring on his hand, & saddles on his feet. In scripture the word ‘but’ is often written before we read about a change of perspective, a perspective that invites God onto the scene.  Isaiah 40:31. But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run & not be weary, they shall walk & not faint. Father, today I pray that I will recognise & welcome Your intervention. Thank You that as I look to You, You are able to turn all things for good. Help me to rest & sit with Your word.
