Prayers for my friend Denise who recently lost her teenage son due to a car accident.
March 30, 2020 at 3:15 pmLord we lift up Denise to you. You are the only remedy for this mother’s pain. We ask that you would envelope her and the atmosphere around her with a comfort that only you can provide. Assure her Lord that our time on earth is short. Show her where her son is. Give her a glimpse into eternity so that she may cling to you and all that you are. Send her love from every direction of the earth. Envelope her with your presence. Thank you Lord, you alone are worthy.

May 9, 2020 at 7:02 amMerciful Father, I ask that you comfort Denise in her time of sorrow. I ask that you guard her heart, mind, body and soul and protect her from the evil one who will surely whisper lies to a mother’s grieving heart. Gracious Father, I ask you to draw near to Denise, and keep her close to your heart. I pray your peace and your protection over her family, and I pray others around her show her The love of Christ as they surround her with songs of healing and praise to The One who holds our tomorrow. Peace be still and know that He Is.
May 10, 2020 at 4:59 amLord, please be with Denise. God, please comfort her. God please just fill her with peace that passes understanding. Please let her sleep at night. And in the morning when she remembers, be there for her. Surround her with those who love her. Show her such gentleness and kindness. Use those around her to bless her with compassion. Please remind the people around her that her pain will never go away and that she needs loving kindness always and forever. Please bring such Comfort to her now God. In Jesus’ name I pray amen.
