Will you please pray for me. I have been battling food addiction since I was a child. Other addictions seemed easy to get over but I still struggle with food addiction. Since you need food to live you can’t just quit eating. I appreciate Daily Audio Bible and the community it has. Please remember me in your prayers. Thank you so much.

I pray that Jesus would walk with you back into your childhood developmental years when Satan was able to instill the lies that cause you to believe that you are not who God says you are. These lies that were laid upon you resurface daily and cause you to reach for coping mechanisms like addiction. Jesus, Jehovah Rapha, I pray for your healing hands hands

May 1, 2020 at 11:51 amMaybe take a look at which types of food you are addicted to. Is it sugar? fried? salty? Sugar can set off cravings for more. So can coffee for me, although no one else says they have that problem. Father in heaven, I pray you will help her conquer this addiction. Bless her with Godly wisdom from Your hand to her heart.
