Dear Dab family, my eldest son, whom I am mentoring through a start up venture at age 24, recently started dating a girl from church. As parents we gave been relieved as this is his first relationship, and he has a social challenge due to an awkward communication style. She has her own set of challenges around anxiety, and is her first serious relationship as well. We thought God matched a pair well. I have been mentoring my son through the challenges (especially our Enemy, and our own fallen natures) to expect in dating and they hit the first one.⛑️ Please pray for God’s grace, as this is an enemy attack.🔥 Her anxiousness triggered a fear response, based on his transparency around active and responsible steps he takes togaurd his heart and prevent exposure to temptation. He trusts me enough and has shared the circumstances and event that trigerred it, and it is a case of his responsible behaviour being treated as a sign of an underlying weakness, instead of wisdom. They are seeing our pastor to discuss this next week. 🙏🤲🕊🌿 Please pray for grace and wisdom for all involved, as they graciously work through the event that trigerred their partial pause in relationship and that her unfounded suspicions/fear/assumptions not be validated as fact.

December 2, 2025 at 10:42 pmLookingUp, its refreshing to see a dad take so much interest in his son’s life. Kudos for being an example of what a dad should be. Praying that your son has a heart that is open to receive godly counsel. And that whatever Holy Spirit 🕊️shows your Pastor, he will present it in the spirit of speaking the Truth in love to your son. Praying, your som receives clear direction from the LORD impressing upon the Pastor’s heart of wisdom that helps to mend the divide between he and his girlfriend. Thank You Abba for helping this young couple to mend fences. Asking in the Name of JESUS. 🎚️Amen! 💞

December 3, 2025 at 11:56 amJust a quick update for everyone praying. A mini praise report and thanks for your prayers. 🫶✨️✨️✨️The meeting with pastor is this coming Monday. My sons girlfriend has been in contact to confirm her commitment, but she is still confused in what triggerred her response. Knowing the facts of the situation (just reality of life), I trust this is a simple counseling session for our pastor.🙏🌿🤲🕊 But please continue to pray for both to be protected from attacks from the evil one, and for the benefit of learning about God, and one another, how to cope and win amidst surprises or adversity.
December 3, 2025 at 12:52 pmLU, Continue to have communion in your home, and pray and lay it all out, in gratitude and worship. God knows everything that it’s taking place. God is sovereign! Sample for Communion. You take a piece of cracker you say something like this: Thank you Jesus for your broken body. It is for my family’s healing. Thank you that by your stripes, by the beatings you bore, by the lashes which fell on your back, we are completely healed. I believe and receive it today. Take the small cup and say; Thank you Jesus for the new covenant cut in your blood has brought me forgiveness and washed me from every sin. I thank you that your blood has made me righteous. And as I drink, and partake of the inheritance of the righteous, which is the preservation, healing, wholeness and prosperity. This will greatly bless, you and your family.
