Good morning DAB Family,
It has been some time since I last visited the prayer wall. So first I want all to know that I am doing well and haven’t lost or left my faith. I just needed some time away seeking God in a different way.I also just finished a Master’s program and that took up much of my brain function.

Update: I found this site a few months after my husband of then 23 years, left me and our family to try to create a life with his affair partner. Everything happened so quickly for me. My husband’s behavior started changing and then announced leaving, then revealed the affair. It has been almost 2 years now. He is still out of the home. There has been no divorce but he is still in such a fallen state of mind. He walked away from God, his calling and then his family. He has been slowly trying to come back to church while still living a lifestyle not pertaining to holiness. That in itself is a blessing.

It has been very difficult for me, our children and even him but he has been so stubborn and determined to do what he wants. Financially it has been a struggle because he has put himself and us in a mess. He has lost his job and even when he was working, he wasn’t contributing much to the family.

I say all of that to say, even in the midst of all the storms…GOD is YET GOOD!!! He has kept me and my family, provided all of our needs and just sent us help and support from all over. I am still praying that God will restore my husband back to Him and then back to me and our family. My husband has ended the affair but still seems to be distracted by the woman and her issues. God is working things out in His own timing and His own way. Please pray with and for me that I will continue to keep the faith, stay strong and get closer and closer to God.
