Description
Deep resonant mouth feel with a long sweet finish and balanced acidity. Brews equally well in a drip brewer and a french press. This is a great coffee for personal daily brewing and hospitality. French press it extra strong and serve it with a home-made pie and your guests will be blessed!
Origin notes: This particular coffee is sourced from a development project (when available) that directly benefits women in Colombia and the United States. Colombian coffee is considered a “classic coffee.” It’s also one of the largest growers and exporters of coffee (currently the second largest after Brazil). The first export record of Colombian coffee dates to 1835 and earned the parishioner growers of the town of Salazar de Las Palmas a penance from the Church (according to the website for the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia). Apparently, the local Colombian priest hadn’t yet got the news that Pope Clement the VIII blessed the consumption of coffee in the year 1600, some 235 years earlier. Let’s hear three cheers for Pope Clement the VIII’s coffee blessing!!!
Why sell coffee and tea here? Because it’s something the majority of us consume each day. This coffee isn’t your normal, “off the shelf” variety. These beans are specially selected and roasted specifically for the Daily Audio Bible community. The tea isn’t grocery store grade either. This is premium boutique grade. We’re bothering with this because it’s something you’re going to buy anyway. It’s premium quality and the profits don’t go to a corporation they are directly invested into the mission here. Order now and have it delivered to your door. Better yet subscribe to the coffee club and have it automatically delivered every month. Get a bag of ground or whole bean or grab a 5lb bag and enjoy!
