Here is my advise. In the next couple of weeks and I am hoping years too…. be the best wife you can ever be. Don’t look into him changing but during this time look at you as being the one that is going through a complete make over. I don’t mean physically but spiritually. Be that Proverbs 31 wife.

Be that submissive kind wife to your husband because you love Jesus.( Ephesians 5:22-23) This does not imply that you are inferior or less worthy in any way. Talk to your children on the importance of honoring their parents ( Ephesians 6:1)

Something always happens when one party in the house is constantly doing something right – You create a positive environment, the kids will feel it and i KNOW your husband will see it ( you don’t have to whine or cry to him , your actions will win his true affection to you). One by one you will see the children respect their father , why because they see mom doing it, they see mom being so gracious and they will want to copy you.

Speak LIFE daily over your marriage, pray over your family daily and tell God what you want your family to look like, don’t complain about how it is now- He already knows 🙂
Finally put on the full armor of God daily as we are in a spiritual battle.

So I pray love and LIFE over your marriage. May all the years that have been wasted be restored in Jesus name. May Jesus be the true HEAD of your family and may your husband one day submit to Christ as you submit to your husband , and may your offspring see how loved you are by your husband. That is my prayer .
